Just shy of his 40th anniversary at Entercom Classic Hits 94.5 KOOL-FM Phoenix, Tom Peake is coming off air. Peake has been with KOOL since 1979 when he started as a weekend host. He later served as Production Director and has been heard in every daypart during his career. Peake added Music Director duties in 1985 and will continue to serve in that position despite losing his on-air shift.
iHeartMedia Hot AC “Mix 100.7” WMTX Tampa has added Nate ‘Brody’ Halegua as co-host of “Mix Mornings with Laura Diaz”.
Halegua previously hosted nights at iHeart CHR 93.3 WFLZ from 2014-2018 and worked with Diaz at “XL 106.7” WXXL Orlando where he hosted afternoons and she was part of the morning show. He has also worked at KUPL Portland, WJHM Orlando, WKSS Hartford, and WFKS Jacksonville during his career.
Midwest Communications has made a pair of programming changes as Terry Stevens moves from Brand Manager of “Rock 94.7” WOZZ Mosinee/Wausau WI to the newly created position of Operations Manager for the company’s four station cluster in Lansing MI. Stevens will also serve as Program Director of Rock “Q106” WJXQ Charlotte/Lansing.
Replacing Stevens at WOZZ will be Ryan Fantozzi. Fantozzi heads to Wausau from the PD/afternoon host position at Neuhoff Media’s “Rock 96.7” WIHN Normal/Bloomington IL. He has also worked at KFMC Fairmont MN and at Midwest’s defunct “93 Rock” WRQE Green Bay.
Bonneville Urban AC 102.9 KBLX San Francisco has announced the addition of Celeste Perry for weekends. Perry most recently hosted middays at Bonneville Classic Rock “98.5 K-Fox” KUFX San Jose until April 2018. A longtime stalwart of the San Francisco market, Perry has also worked at Oldies KYA and KFRC, Classic Hits KOSF, and Country KYCY during her career.
