After exiting his role as Program Director of Cumulus Media Country “102.7 Nash-FM” WXBM Pensacola FL last month to follow his wife to her new job in Colorado, Nick Fox is returning to the company to program Westwood One’s Country formats.
Based in Denver, Fox will “oversee day-to-day operations of delivering 24/7 programming to Westwood One Country affiliates. He will manage on-air talent while supervising music databases and support current and potential 24/7 affiliates.” Prior to joining WXBM in October 2018, Fox was APD at Saga’s “Beaver 100.3” WVVR Clarksville TN and previously worked at CHR 97.5 WABB Mobile and Cumulus’ revised 97.5 WABD.
Westwood One, the largest audio network in the U.S., has hired Nick Fox as Country Program Director for Westwood One’s 24/7 Formats. In this role, Fox will oversee day-to-day operations of delivering 24/7 programming to Westwood One Country affiliates. He will manage on-air talent while supervising music databases and support current and potential 24/7 affiliates. He is based in Denver and will report to George King, VP/GM Network Formats.
Nick joins Westwood One from Pensacola, FL where he was Program Director/Midday Personality for CUMULUS MEDIA’s Country WXBM and afternoon personality on AC WMEZ. Nick also worked in Clarksville, TN for Saga WVVR and WCVQ, Mobile WABD and AC WMEZ, which carried Westwood One’s 24/7 AC programming.
