Edgar ‘Shoboy’ Sotelo, former morning host at “92.3 Amp Radio” WBMP New York and “97.1 Amp Radio” KAMP Los Angeles, has joined Entravision to host a new morning show on their Bilingual Rhythmic stations and syndicated nationally.
“The Shoboy Show” debuted this morning on “Fuego 103.5” KHHM Sacramento, “Fuego 98.9” KCVR Columbia/Stockton CA, and “Fuego 99.5” KKPS Brownsville/McAllen TX.
Sotelo will be joined on the new show by Becca Guzman, Micho Rizzo, and Eddie ‘Cheekz’ Sotelo. Guzman previously was a digital content producer for KPWR Los Angeles and worked on-air at KLAX/KXOL in Los Angeles. Rizzo previously was part of Sotelo’s morning shows in Dallas and New York.
The program will air live mornings from 6-10am pacific/8am-12pm central.

As a recipient of a Marconi Radio Award, Edgar Sotelo is a proven entertainer with over 10 years of broadcasting experience. He recently anchored a morning radio show in Los Angeles and was previously a morning host in New York. Shoboy will be joined by his crew, Rebecca “Becca” Guzman, Micho Rizzo and Cheekz – each member brings their own unique and silly characteristics that make up the feel-good chemistry of the morning crew.
