Original Report 9/4: Subarctic Media’s Radio Mankato is making changes at two of its stations serving Mankato MN.
Country “Minnesota 93” has moved from the Class C1 93.1 KATO-FM New Ulm to the C2 signal of 100.5 KXAC St. James as “Minnesota 100“. That eliminates the Classic Hits “Magic 100.5” format that had been heard on the frequency since December 2018. The move gives the Country format a stronger signal in the nearby Fairmont market.
93.1 KATO-FM is currently looping Los Del Rio’s “Macarena” with sweepers promoting the move of the Country format and teasers for a launch on Tuesday, September 6.
