iHeartMedia CHR “Z104.3” WZFT Baltimore has announced the promotion of Mike Klein to Assistant Program Director.
A Maryland native, Klein joined WZFT in February 2021 as afternoon host and will also continue serving as afternoon host at “G105” WDCG Raleigh NC and as a fill-in across the company’s Washington DC cluster and at “Z100” WHTZ New York. He previously served as Operations Manager for SummitMedia’s cluster and PD of Rhythmic CHR “Hot 98.1” WHZT and Adult R&B “107.3 Jamz” WJMZ-FM in Greenville SC from 2016-20 and has also programmed “Radio Now 100.9” WNOW-FM Indianapolis, “Radio Now 98.9” WNRW and “Gen X Radio 100.5” WLGX Louisville, and “Z104” WNVZ Norfolk VA.
iHeartMedia Baltimore, MD announced today that Mike Klein has been named Assistant Program Director for Z104.3, Baltimore’s #1 Hit Music Station, effective immediately. iHeartMedia Baltimore, MD has a strong cross-platform presence and includes several iconic brands and franchises — both broadcast and digital — encompassing four music stations.

As Assistant Program Director, Mike Klein will be overseeing the day-to-day programming operations of Z104.3 as well as other Baltimore cluster duties. He will continue to report to Rob Kruz, Program Director for iHeartMedia Baltimore, MD.
