Prior to joining KBCO, Arbough worked at then Progressive Rock 93.3 KTCL Fort Collins from 1978 to 1985, and rising to Music Director in 1981.

iHeartMedia Denver’s 97.3 KBCO, World Class Rock, announced today the retirement of Scott Arbough after 38 years at the station, most recently serving as Program Director. Scott Arbough’s last day will be March 31, 2023.

Scott Arbough has served as KBCO Program Director for the past 23 years. He joined the KBCO air staff in 1985 after serving as Music Director at KTCL in Ft. Collins, Colorado. Soon he became the KBCO Studio C Engineer and Producer of the hugely successful KBCO Studio C Charity CD series. In December of 2018, KBCO was inducted into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame.

“It has been an amazing journey and the thrill of a lifetime to be a part of KBCO for 38 years. I have been inspired by the extremely talented radio professionals who have dedicated their careers to creating this iconic radio station. I wish to thank each of them for their commitment to our community and for believing in our mission to create this unique and successful radio station. I begin the next phase of my life knowing that the team at KBCO will carry on for many years to come,” said Scott Arbough.

Now hook up that camper and enjoy your retirement,” said JoJo Turnbeaugh, Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Rocky Mountain Region.
