Renda Media has announced the promotion of Brian Jordan to Director of Programming for its Jacksonville properties overseeing AC 96.1 WEJZ and “99.9 Gator Country” WGNE.

Jordan joined the cluster in 2008 and was promoted to Assistant Program Director in January 2022. He also serves as cluster Production Director and hosts middays on WGNE and nights on WEJZ. Prior to joining Renda, Jordan spent four years from 2002-06 at Cox CHR 95.1 WAPE Jacksonville.

Jordan will start in his new position on Friday, April 26 as Todd Shannon departs to join North Texas University’s Alternative “88.1 Indie” KNTU and Jazz “88.1 The One” KNTU-HD2 McKinney/Dallas TX as OM/PD.

Jordan said, “I’m looking forward to keeping the momentum going for both stations and continuing to work with our incredible staff members.“
