Kensington Digital Media Classic Hits “94.5 Hippie Radio” WHPY-FM Bellevue/Nashville TN will launch a weekly show hosted by musician Walter Egan.
“Walt’s Record Vault” will air on Sundays at 10pm. Egan describes the show as, “a lot of original hippie music from the late 60’s early 70’s centered around the Haight-Ashbury era. It’s kind of a post-grad college radio playlist. Should be lots of fun!”
Walter Egan had a Top 10 Hit with Magnet & Steel inspired by Stevie Nicks in 1978 and has performed
with Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, Bob Welch and more. He lives in Nashville and continues
to write, record, and perform on tours with Ambrosia, Orleans, Firefall, Yacht Rock Tours and more.
