iHeartMedia has announced that EVP/Programming for Los Angeles, Hot AC Brand Manager, and “104.3 My-FM” KBIG Los Angeles Program Director John Peake will add the Program Director duties for AC 103.5 KOST.

Peake previously programmed KOST from January 2017 until his promotion to SVP/Programming and Jill Kempton’s arrival in April 2021. He now takes back the day-to-day programming reins following her move to WKTU and WLTW New York.

Peake joined iHeartMedia in 2009 as Show Director for the KZZP Phoenix based John Jay & Rich show. He transferred to Seattle in 2011 as Operations Manager for the company’s cluster and then Regional Senior Vice President of Programming for Riverside and San Diego from 2014-2017. He moved to Los Angeles in 2017 to program KBIG and KOST before rising to SVP/Programming. He has also programmed Hot AC “Mix 107.5” KWMX Denver, CHR 104.1 KRBE Houston, Dance “Energy 92.7” KNGY and Hot AC “Alice 97.3” KLLC in San Francisco, CHR 93.7 KRQQ Tucson and was Mission Director for NRJ Paris. Peake joined He will continue to program KBIG in addition to his new role.
