Former “Star 94” WSTR Atlanta Program Director Jerry McKenna is returning to Cape Cod to program GCJH Inc. Classic Hits “Cape Cod’s X” 1240 WGTX/106.5 W268CP West Yarmouth and 102.3 WGTX-FM Truro MA.
McKenna, who programmed WSTR from 2019 until earlier this year, previously worked on Cape Cod as Director of Programming for Cape Cod Broadcasting. The Boston native has also worked as Music Director of CHRs “Kiss 108” WXKS-FM and 94.5 WZOU Boston, PD of “Hot 106” WWKX Providence, PD of Rhythmic AC “Star 93.7” WQSX and Variety Hits “93.7 Mike-FM” WMKK Boston, PD of “Mix 98.5” WBMX Boston, Operations Manager and PD for Cumulus Media Worcester MA and in the record industry at Columbia and RCA Records and as Hot 100 Chart Manager for Billboard.
