The syndicated “Bob & Tom Show” has announced that former host Bob Kevoian passed away today at the age of 75.
Kevoian and Tom Griswold hosted the show together from 1982 until Kevoian retired at the end of 2015. The duo started together at WJML Petoskey MI before moving to “Q95” 94.7 WFBQ Indianapolis in 1983. The show continues to be based at WFBQ and has been syndicated since 1995.
In a release the show said, “Bob was a pioneering force in American radio, helping to build ‘The Bob & Tom Show’ into one of the most successful and enduring syndicated programs in broadcasting history. With his sharp wit, steady presence, and unmistakable voice, Bob connected with millions of listeners across the country, creating a daily habit of laughter that spanned generations.”
Griswold stated, “Bob used to say that our show was simply a conversation between two friends — not heard, but overheard. We created a space where humor brought people together every morning. That legacy lives on.”
This is how I will remember Bob ~ In December we gathered at his home to watch him sing some damn funny songs & make his guests laugh & smile. Though I’m sad I will also remember the Bob we all love. @BobsFunGirl when the time is right I will hug you but I may not let go. 🙏 pic.twitter.com/dLZSfhxFko

Bob. One name. One very common name.Yet, there's only one that anyone immediately thinks of. Bob Kevoian lived his life exactly like he wanted to. Fought a courageous battle against Cancer with humor, friend engagement, and love for his family. Bob. One name. One singular legend. pic.twitter.com/Ryy9BwVRmR
