Compass Media Networks has announced that Mount Wilson Broadcasting’s “Go Country 105” KKGO-FM Los Angeles has added “Country Countdown USA with Lon Helton” to its lineup.

KKGO-FM will carry the program on Saturday evenings from 6-9pm. The show, which has run since 1992, features Country Aircheck publisher Helton and interviews with top country artists. Helton said, “It is great to be reunited with Saul Levine and an honor to once again have Country Countdown USA on Go Country 105, one of the USA’s most listened-to Country radio stations.”

KKGO-FM Owner/President Saul Levine commented, “KKGO’s experience with Lon Helton over the past 20 years has been so beneficial that we are delighted to once again welcome Lon Helton on KKGO Go Country and resume KKGO’s march to the top as America’s leading country station.”
