Wheeler Media Solutions AC “Q99” WSLQ Roanoke VA Morning co-host David Page will retire on Friday, December 11 ending a 35+ year radio career.
Page, who has co-hosted “Dick & Dave” with Dick Daniels since 2000, first joined the station and sister 610 WSLC in 1991. He would move to Raleigh in 1993 before returning to the station to join Daniels in mornings. A native of Long Beach CA, Page also served ten years in the US Army before transitioning into radio.
Wheeler Media Solutions VP/General Manager Brett Sharp said, “Everybody loves Dave. Dave has been an anchor for Q99, our company, and our listeners for nearly 30 years. He is always so full of positivity and has absolutely helped to make our company a better place to work. His dedication to our community, his quick wit, and his partnership with Dick Daniels have helped shape Q99 into what it is today. We will miss him in the hallways and especially on the airwaves, but we are hopeful to have Dave do some Q99 cameos and fill-ins from time to time. We wish Dave nothing but a happy retirement and lots of sleeping in.”
