Following their acquisition of 102.9 WDRC-FM Hartford, Connoisseur Media has filed to adjust the patterns of it and adjacent channel sister 103.1 WBZO Bay Shore, NY. Both stations will retain their current tower heights and power; 19.5kW at 247 meters for WDRC-FM and 1.55kW at 141 meters for WBZO. WDRC-FM will adjust from non-directional to a directional array, while WBZO will shift to non-directional. The move will allow WBZO to put a city-grade signal over the north shore of Long Island with less interference from WDRC-FM.

After its long saga to move into Manhattan came to an end, 106.3 W292DV New York moved to Long Island City, Queens with 4 watts at 200 meters. After building out that facility and testing, the translator now seeks to upgrade to 40 watts from the same height and facility. From that location the translator will put a signal over the bulk of Manhattan, Western Queens, Northern Brooklyn, Southern Bronx, and Hudson County, NJ rebroadcasting 93.5 WVIP-HD2 New Rochelle.

Frank McCoy’s 94.7 K234CI Marion, TX has applied to relocate into San Antonio with 250 watts at 125 meters. The translator will rebroadcast Salem’s Christian Talk 630 KSLR.

Delmarva Educational Association has proposed a move of 96.5 W243DD Suffolk, VA to 96.9 with an increase from 80 watts at 43.5 meters to 250 watts at 333.36 meters. The translator will rebroadcast Christian Talk 1010 WPMH Portsmouth.

Saga Communications is acquiring 105.5 W288CU Portland, ME from Bible Broadcasting in exchange for a lease on the tower site of Saga’s 100.9 WYNZ. The 200 watt translator will rebroadcast an HD subchannel of 93.1 WMGX.

Concord Broadcasting is selling 92.3 W222BX Laconia, NH to Great Eastern Radio for $1000. The translator will be used to rebroadcast 101.5 WZEI Meredith.

Susan Clinton has sold 105.5 W288CL Moosic, PA to Robert Wilkins’ Steel City Radio for $40,000. Wilkins will utilize the translator to bring his 1550 WITK Pittston to FM in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre market.
