CBL Investments is selling Classic Hits 98.9 KRQX-FM Hurricane/St. George, UT to Craig Hanson’s Redrock Broadcasting for $250,000. Hanson, the former President of Simmons Media currently operates KRQX via LMA and owns Hot AC “Mix 103.1” KURR Hildale in the St. George market.
Richard Witkovski’s North Texas Radio Group is acquiring Classic Country 1550 KMAD Madill, OK from Keystone Broadcasting for $40,000.
The Benett Kessler Trust transfers AC “Sierra Wave Radio” 92.5 KSRW Independence, CA and sister LPTV KSRW-LP Mammoth Lakes to Scott Clark as trustee following the death of Kessler last year.
Kona Coast Radio buys 102.3 KMKK-FM Kaunakakai, HI from Ohana Broadcast Company for $90,000.
New Beginning World Outreach sells 88.1 WNBV Grundy, VA to Earl Cole’s Jewell Valley Railroad for $7500. The buyer includes an educational objective in the application stating, “SUBJECT MATTER COVERED BY PROGRAMMING WILL INCLUDE FAMILY DEVELOPMENT, CHILD REARING AND EDUCATION, HEALTH INFORMATION AND RELIGION. PROGRAMS WILL BE DEVELOPED AND SELECTED SO AS TO BE RESPONSIVE TO THE NEEDS AND INTERESTS IN THE PROPOSED SERVICE AREA.”

Gopher Communications Company buys the CP for 106.1 K291BT Grand Forks, ND from Horizon Christian Fellowship for $40,000. K291BT will rebroadcast Educational Media Foundation’s 100.7 KKLQ Harwood/Fargo.
