Midwest Changes Coming To Lansing

Since September 1 Midwest Communications has flipped 6 of its 47 stations to new formats. It appears its next move will be in Lansing, Michigan where “Smooth Jazz 92.9” WJZL changed calls to WLMI on October 1. 929WLMI.com was registered on September 24. Tim Barron, morning host at sister Classic Hits “92X” WQTX has been simulcasting on 92.9 since August.

Midwest acquired its Lansing cluster from Rubber City Radio earlier this year.
