The fourth and final day of Nielsen Audio’s PPM releases for the month bring Austin, Raleigh/Durham, Indianapolis, Nashville, Milwaukee, Providence, Norfolk, Jacksonville, West Palm Beach, Greensboro/Winston-Salem, Memphis, and Hartford.

98.9 KUTX AustinWaterloo Media Variety Hits “103.5 Bob-FM” KBPA holds steady at an 8.7 share. University of Texas AAA 98.9 KUTX rises to second 6.1 to 6.9 with Ratings Expert Chris Huff noting that is a record high for the station. Public News/Talk 90.1 KUT-FM dips 6.2 to 5.9. Audacy AC “Majic 95.5” KKMJ trends down 6.6 – 6.3 – 5.8. iHeartMedia CHR “96.7 Kiss-FM” KHFI (5.0 to 5.3) and Country 98.1 KVET-FM (4.9 to 5.3) tie for fifth.

Waterloo Media Regional Mexican “107.1 La Z” trends down 4.5 – 4.1 – 3.6. Genuine Austin Radio Country 99.3 KOKE-FM jumps up 1.4 to 2.3. Waterloo’s recently launched Spanish CHR “Mega 102.7” KLZT-HD2 rises 0.4 – 0.9 – 1.2.

Raleigh/Durham

94.7 WQDR Raleigh DurhamCapitol Broadcasting AC “Mix 101.5” WRAL-FM jumps up 7.8 to 8.6 to claim sole possession of the market lead. Radio One Adult R&B “Foxy 107.1/104.3” WFXC/WFXK rises 7.8 to 8.6. iHeartMedia Conservative “Talk 106.1” WTKK is up 7.2 to 8.0 for its highest share since November 2020. Public News/Talk 91.5 WUNC-FM rises 7.6 to 7.7. Curtis Media Country 94.7 WQDR-FM surges up 3.5 to 5.2.

iHeartMedia Country “B93.9” WNCB trends up 1.8 – 3.0 – 3.3. Trending down are Curtis Media Variety Hits “96.1 BBB” WBBB (7.2 to 5.0), iHeartMedia Classic Rock 100.7 WRDU (6.1 – 4.5 – 4.3), and iHeartMedia CHR “G105” WDCG (4.6 – 4.3 – 3.2).

Indianapolis

92.3 WTTS Bloomington Indianapolis Sarkes TarzianCumulus Media Classic Hits 104.5 WJJK expands its market leading share 11.8 to 12.6. The soon-to-be combined Radio One cluster takes the next four spots. Emmis News/Talk 93.1 WIBC rises 8.5 to 9.4 followed by AC “B105.7” WYXB’s 6.8 to 6.7 move and Country “97.1 Hank-FM” WLHK’s 6.5 to 6.6. Radio One Adult R&B 106.7 WTLC-FM inches down 6.3 to 6.2.

Sarkes Tarzian AAA 92.3 WTTS trends up 3.1 – 3.8 – 5.8 for what Huff notes is a record high for that station.

With the likelihood of an imminent format change, iHeartMedia Alternative “Alt 103.3” WOLT trends down 2.6 – 2.4 – 2.2.

iHeartMedia Classic Rock “Q95” WFBQ rises 4.6 to 5.3. Trending down are Cumulus Country 95.5 WFMS (5.8 to 4.6) and Public News/Talk 90.1 WFYI-FM (5.3 – 4.8 – 4.0).

Nashville

103.3 Country Nash-FM WKDF NashvilleMidwest Communications Variety Hits “96.3 Jack-FM” WCJK expands its lead to nearly three shares with an 8.9 to 9.8 rise. Midwest AC “Mix 92.9” WJXA (5.2 – 5.8 – 7.1) and iHeartMedia Hip Hop “101.1 The Beat” WUBT (down 7.5 to 7.1) tie for second. iHeartMedia Country “The Big 98” WSIX (7.3 to 6.9) and Cumulus Media News/Talk “99.7 WTN” WWTN (5.9 to 6.9) tie for fourth.

Cumulus Media’s “103.3 Country” WKDF jumps up 2.9 – 4.4 – 4.8. Trending down are iHeartMedia CHR “107.5 The River” WRVW (4.1 to 3.4), Cumulus Sports “104.5 The Zone” WGFX (3.2 to 2.1), Salem Media Christian AC “94 The Fish” WFFH/WFFI (3.9 – 2.7 – 1.8) and iHeartMedia Conservative Talk 1510 WLAC (3.2 – 2.7 – 1.7)

Good Karma Brands News/Talk 620 WTMJ trends up 9.9 – 10.3 – 11.4 for what Huff notes is its largest share since October 2011. iHeartMedia Classic Hits “95.7 Big-FM” WRIT-FM rises to second with an 8.8 to 9.3 gain. iHeart Conservative Talk 1130 WISN declines 9.6 to 9.0. iHeart’s Country “FM 106.1” WMIL is up 6.2 to 7.0. Saga Classic Rock “Hometown Rock 96.5” WKLH slides 6.9 to 6.4.

Saga Rock “102.9 The Hog” WHQG falls 6.4 to 5.1. Public News/Talk 89.7 WUWM slides 5.3 – 5.1 – 4.2. Milwaukee Radio Alliance Alternative “FM 102.1” WLUM slips 4.5 – 3.9 – 3.7. iHeartMedia Hip Hop “V100” WKKV trends up 2.6 – 3.0 – 3.3.

Providence

iHeartMedia Rock 94.1 WHJY retains its four share lead with its 11.7 to 11.5 dip. Cumulus AC “Lite 105.1” WWLI is off 7.6 to 7.5. Hall’s “Cat Country 98.1” WCTK dips 7.3 to 7.1. Cumulus CHR “92 Pro-FM” WPRO-FM moves 6.5 to 6.3. iHeartMedia Hot AC “Now 93.3” WSNE trends up 4.1 – 4.8 – 5.3 to move up to fifth.

iHeartMedia Classic Hits “B101” WWBB slides 5.0 – 4.6 – 4.1.

Norfolk/Virginia Beach

95.7 R&B WVKL NorfolkAudacy Adult R&B “95.7 R&B” WVKL rebounds to double digits with an 8.9 to 10.0 gain. Saga Rock “FM 99” WNOR inches up 7.2 to 7.3. Audacy AC “101.3 2WD” WWDE (5.8 to 6.3) and Saga Classic Rock “106.9 The Fox” WAFX (6.1 to 6.3) tie for third. Sinclair Variety Hits “93.7 Bob-FM” WNOB (5.2 to 5.4) and Country “US 106.1” WUSH (5.8 to 5.4) tie for fifth.

With its flip from CHR “Hot 100” to Urban Adult Hits “100.5 The Vibe” three quarters of the way through the monthly, Max Media’s 100.5 WVHT (calls since changed to WVBW) slips 2.8 to 2.4.

iHeartMedia Hip Hop “103 Jamz” WOWI trends down 5.3 – 4.6 – 4.2. Max Media Country “97.3 The Eagle” WGH-FM is down 4.8 – 4.3 – 3.7.

Cox Soft AC “Easy 102.9” WEZI trends up 5.4 – 5.8 – 6.8. iHeartMedia Classic Rock “107.3 Planet Radio” WWJK jumps 3.8 – 4.9 – 5.7, while sister Hip Hop “93.3 The Beat” WJBT is up 3.5 – 4.2 – 4.7.

Cox CHR 95.1 WAPE trends down 4.4 – 3.4 – 3.2. iHeartMedia CHR “97.9 Kiss-FM” WKSL drops 3.4 to 2.7. Cox Alternative “X106.5” WXXJ falls 2.5 – 1.9 – 1.6.

West Palm Beach

Today's Kool 105.5 WOLL West Palm Beach Mo SallyHubbard Hot AC 97.9 WRMF’s lead narrows with its 10.0 to 8.9 drop, while iHeartMedia AC “Kool 105.5” WOLL leaps 5.0 to 8.1. Hubbard Classic Hits “Sunny 107.9” WEAT dips 6.7 to 6.3, while their Adult R&B “X102.3” WMBX is off 6.1 to 6.0. iHeartMedia Classic Rock “Gater 98.7” WKGR rises 5.2 to 5.6.

Hubbard Country 103.1 WIRK slides 6.3 – 5.0 – 4.0. iHeartMedia Hot Talk “Real Radio 92.1” WZZR jumps 1.1 – 2.1 – 2.4, but sister Spanish AC “Mia 94.3” WRLX falls 2.7 to 1.8.

Greensboro/Winston-Salem

Casey Carter Q104.1 WTQR Winston-Salem 96.9 The Kat WKKT CharlotteAudacy Adult R&B 97.1 WQMG holds onto its lead despite a 13.0 to 11.0 fall. Audacy Variety Hits “98.7 Simon” WSMW rises 8.2 to 9.4. Dick Broadcasting Classic Rock “Rock 92” WKRR is down 9.6 to 9.2. Audacy Hip Hop “102 Jamz” WJMH slides 8.7 to 7.8. iHeartMedia Country “Q104.1” WTQR surges up 4.7 to 6.9.

iHeartMedia AC “Mix 99.5” WMAG trends up 4.5 – 5.7 – 6.4. The Top 40 battle moves in opposite directions with Dick Broadcasting’s 107.5 WKZL rising 3.2 to 3.6 and iHeartMedia’s “Hits 100.3” WMKS down 4.6 to 3.5.

Memphis

Cumulus Adult R&B 103.5 WRBO rises 12.6 to 13.4 to expand its lead to nearly four shares. iHeartMedia’s Adult R&B “V101” KJMS slides 11.5 to 9.6. iHeart Gospel “95.7 Hallelujah-FM” WHAL is off 9.4 to 9.3, while Hip Hop “K97” WHRK is steady at a 7.1. Audacy AC “104.5 The River” WRVR is fifth down 7.1 to 6.9.

Since the passing of morning host Bobby O’Jay in early May, iHeartMedia R&B Oldies 1070 WDIA trends down 8.0 – 7.1 – 5.0.

Flinn Broadcasting Hip Hop “Hot 107.1” KXHT surges up 4.5 – 5.2 – 5.9. Cumulus Classic Rock “Max 98.1” WXMX trends up 2.5 – 3.0 – 3.7. iHeartMedia CHR “101.9 Kiss-FM” KWNW rises 1.0 to 1.7. Audacy Hot AC “FM 100” WMC-FM trends down 5.3 – 4.4 – 4.1.

The Country battle in Memphis flips as Audacy’s “94.1 The Wolf” WLFP rises 2.7 to 3.5 and Cumulus’ “Kix 106” WGKX falls 4.3 – 3.4 – 2.8.

Hartford

Radio 104.1 WMRQ Waterbury HartfordAudacy AC “Lite 100.5” WRCH rises 11.6 to 12.0 to expand its commanding lead. Public News/Talk 90.5 WNPR-FM drops 7.9 to 7.5. iHeartMedia Country 92.5 WWYZ (6.6 to 7.1) and Audacy Hot AC 96.5 WTIC-FM (7.0 to 7.1) tie for third. iHeartMedia Classic Hits “105.9 The River” WHCN (6.2 to 6.5) and Full Power Radio Classic Rock “102.9 The Whale” WDRC-FM (7.5 to 6.5) tie for fifth.

iHeartMedia CHR “Kiss 95.7” WKSS rises 5.6 to 6.1, while their New Haven market CHR “KC 101” WKCI is up 1.7 to 2.4. Audacy News/Talk 1080 WTIC trends up 4.5 – 4.8 – 5.3. Full Power Radio Alternative “Radio 104.1” WMRQ trends 2.5 – 3.1 – 3.9, while their newly launched Adult R&B “Hartford’s 102.5” 1470 WBOM grows 0.2 – 1.0 – 1.4.

Audacy Hip Hop “Hot 93.7” WMZX slides 5.5 – 5.4 – 4.7.
