Nielsen Audio has released Day 2 of its monthly four day sweep of ratings in PPM markets.

Today’s releases include Washington DC, Boston, Seattle, Miami, Phoenix, Detroit, Minneapolis, Tampa/St. Petersburg, Denver, San Diego, Baltimore, and St. Louis.

Washington DC

88.5 WAMU Washington DC American UniversityPublic News/Talk 88.5 WAMU rises 11.4 to 12.4. Hubbard News 103.5 WTOP is down 11.3 to 10.5. iHeartMedia Alternative “DC 101” WWDC is up 5.3 to 5.5. Howard University Adult R&B 96.3 WHUR holds at a 5.4 share. iHeart AC 97.1 WASH falls 6.7 to 5.1.

Cumulus Conservative Talk 105.9 WMAL drops 4.7 to 4.1. iHeart CHR “Hot 99.5” WIHT slides 3.4 – 3.0 – 2.7. Radio One Hip Hop 93.9 WKYS dips 2.5 – 2.2 – 2.0.

Audacy Sports “106.7 The Fan” WJFK’s stream is up 0.6 – 1.0 – 1.6, which outperforms the primary FM signal as it rises 1.0 to 1.3.

Boston

Country 102.5 WKLB BostonThe lead in Boston narrows significantly. Audacy AC “Magic 106.7” WMJX drops 7.2 to 5.9 but remains on top with what Ratings Expert Chris Huff notes is the smallest share to ever lead the Boston market. iHeartMedia News 1030 WBZ slips 6.2 – 5.8 – 5.6 to tie for second with Beasley Classic Hits 105.7 WROR as it rises 4.8 – 5.1 – 5.6. iHeart Classic Rock 100.7 WZLX dips 5.7 to 5.4. Audacy Hot AC “Mix 104.1” WWBX rises 4.8 to 5.3.

Beasley’s “98.5 The Sports Hub” WBZ-FM slides 9.0 – 6.8 – 6.2 – 5.2. Audacy’s 93.7 WEEI-FM is up 4.4 to 4.7.

Beasley Country 102.5 WKLB rises 2.9 – 3.1 – 3.9

iHeart CHR “Kiss 108” WXKS-FM is up 4.4 to 4.8, while sister Rhythmic CHR “Jam’n 94.5” WJMN is up 2.3 to 2.9.

Seattle/Tacoma

Spirit 105.3 KCMS-FM CRISTA Media SeattlePublic News/Talk 94.9 KUOW-FM inches up 7.8 to 8.0. iHeartMedia Classic Rock 102.5 KZOK is up 6.2 to 6.4. iHeart Classic Hits “95.7 The Jet” KJEB rises 3.8 – 4.1 – 4.9 to tie for third with Crista Ministries’ Christian AC “Spirit 105.3” KCMS-FM, which rises for the sixth consecutive month 4.5 to 4.9. Hubbard AC “Warm 106.9” KRWM holds at a 4.8 share.

Audacy Country “100.7 The Wolf” KKWF swings 4.3 – 3.9 – 4.4. Sister Alternative “107.7 The End” KNDD is down 4.1 to 3.3, and Hot AC “Emma 94.1” KSWD slides 3.2 – 3.0 – 2.4.

Bonneville’s “Seattle Sports 710” KIRO jumps 1.6 – 2.0 – 4.1. Conservative Talk 770 KTTH is down 2.3 to 1.4.

Dance “C89.5” KNHC skids 2.4 – 2.1 – 1.8.

Miami/Fort Lauderdale

Easy 93.1 WFEZ MiamiCox Media Group Soft AC “Easy 93.1” WFEZ ends the 27 month streak at #1 by sister Adult R&B “Hot 105” WHQT. WFEZ rises 6.1 to 6.9 for what Huff notes is its first time leading Miami since July 2023. WHQT continues its downward trend 9.1 – 8.9 – 8.5 – 7.5 – 6.8. Audacy AC “101.5 Lite-FM” WLYF rises 5.5 to 6.2 with co-owned Classic Hits “102.7 The Beach” WMXJ right behind 5.5 to 5.8. iHeartMedia Bilingual AC “Magic 93.9” WMIA-FM jumps up 4.0 to 4.9.

Univision Spanish AC “Amor 107.5” WAMR falls 6.3 to 4.8. SBS Spanish Tropical “El Zol 106.7” WXDJ rebounds 3.4 to 3.8.

iHeartMedia Classic Rock “Big 105.9” rises 2.7 – 3.1 – 3.5.

Phoenix

1007 KSLX PhoenixHubbard Classic Rock 100.7 KSLX is the new leader in the Valley of the Sun jumping up 5.9 to 7.5 for its first time leading the market since August 2023. iHeartMedia AC “99.9 KEZ” KESZ drops 8.4 to 7.3, which Huff notes ends its #1 streaks at 21 months. iHeartMedia Variety Hits “95.5 The Mountain” KYOT comes back to earth 5.8 to 4.8. Audacy Classic Hits “Big 94.5” KOOL-FM rises 3.7 – 4.0 – 4.6. Hubbard Rock 97.9 KUPD falls 5.7 to 4.3.

iHeartMedia News/Talk 550 KFYI rises 2.7 to 3.8. Univision Spanish AC “Amor 106.3” KOMR jumps up 1.8 to 2.8.

iHeart CHR “104.7 Kiss-FM” KZZP is down 3.1 to 2.4. Audacy CHR “Live 101.5” KALV-FM follows down 3.0 to 2.4.

K-Love Inc. Worship “Air 1” 105.5 KAIZ is up 0.9 to 1.6. Family Life Radio’s 90.3 KFLR-FM slides 2.0 – 1.8 – 1.3.

Detroit

97.1 The Ticket WXYT DetroitAudacy Sports “97.1 The Ticket” WXYT-FM grows 6.2 – 7.6 – 8.9 to reclaim the Motor City lead with its stream up 1.7 to 2.1. iHeartMedia AC 100.3 WNIC is down 9.1 – 8.4 – 7.5. Audacy Classic Hits 104.3 WOMC dips 7.3 to 6.9. iHeart Adult R&B “Mix 92.3” WMXD jumps up 5.1 to 6.5 for its best share since October 2023. Beasley Rock 101.1 WRIF is up 4.9 to 5.4.

iHeartMedia CHR “Channel 95.5” WKQI slides 5.9 – 5.3 – 4.9. Hip Hop 97.9 WJLB is up 3.2 to 4.0.

Audacy News 950 WWJ falls 6.3 – 5.9 – 5.5 – 4.2. Cumulus Conservative Talk 760 WJR is down 2.8 – 2.2 – 1.8.

 

 

Minneapolis/St. Paul

98.5 KTIS-FM Minneapolis St. PauliHeartMedia Sports “100.3 KFAN” KFXN-FM rises 9.9 to 10.9 to expand its lead to four share points. Northwestern Media Christian AC 98.5 KTIS-FM trends up 5.0 – 5.5 – 6.1 – 6.9. iHeart Classic Hits “Kool 108” KQQL is down 7.4 to 6.6. Public News/Talk 91.1 KNOW-FM is down 7.2 to 6.5 (stream down 1.5 to 1.1) and Hubbard Hot AC “KS 95” KSTP-FM is down 6.9 to 6.5 to tie for fourth.

Following its move to a more Classic Alternative lean, Cumulus Classic Rock 92.5 KQRS holds at a 4.6 share. Audacy Variety Hits “104.1 Jack-FM” KZJK continues to rise 3.3 – 4.4 – 4.7 – 5.3 – 6.2. AAA “89.3 The Current” KCMP is down from its station high 5.9 share to a 4.8.

iHeartMedia Country “K102” KEEY is up 3.9 to 4.7. iHeart CHR 101.3 KDWB falls 5.4 – 4.5 – 4.0.

Tampa/St. Petersburg

The Joy FM Radio Training NetworkThe longest consecutive streak leading a market comes to an end in Tampa. Radio Training Network Christian AC “The Joy FM” 91.5 WCIE rises 6.0 – 6.4 – 8.2 – 8.8 for what Ratings Expert Chris Huff notes is the largest share in station history and its first time leading the market since September 2021. That had been the last time a station other than Cox Media Group Soft AC 105.5 WDUV was atop Tampa Bay ending its stream at 46 months as WDUV falls 10.1 – 9.4 – 8.6.

Cox Classic Rock “107.3 The Eagle” WXGL is up 5.9 to 7.2 for its best share since December 2022. iHeartMedia Rock “98 Rock” WXTB is down 6.3 to 5.8. Beasley Media Classic Hits “Q105” WRBQ is up 4.4 to 5.1.

Cox Hot AC “Magic 94.9” WWRM rises 4.0 to 4.5. Cox Adult R&B “101.5 The Vibe” falls 5.5 – 4.1 – 3.8. SBS Spanish Tropical “El Zol 97.1” WSUN-FM skids 2.4 – 1.5 – 1.0.

iHeart News/Talk 970 WFLA slides 4.0 – 3.1 – 2.7. Sports 620/95.3 WDAE rises 1.3 – 1.7 – 2.2.

Public News/Talk 89.5 KPBS-FM slips 6.7 – 6.3 – 6.0. Audacy Sports “97.3 The Fan” KWFN gets its start of the Padres season boost up 2.5 – 3.8 – 5.4 to tie sister AC 96.5 KYXY (up 5.0 to 5.4, stream adding 0.7 share).

Magic 95.9 WWIN-FM BaltimoreRadio One Adult R&B “Magic 95.9” WWIN-FM continues its climb 6.1 – 7.1 – 8.0 – 8.2 – 9.2 for its largest share since June 2022. iHeartMedia Country 93.1 WPOC dips 7.5 to 7.0. Hearst Rock “98 Rock” WIYY is up 6.2 to 6.8. Audacy AC “Today’s 101.9” is down 7.1 to 6.5. Radio One Hip Hop “92Q” WERQ holds at a 5.0 share.

iHeartMedia Variety Hits “102.7 Jack-FM” WQSR is up 4.5 to 4.9. Audacy Hot AC “Mix 106.5” WWMX rises 2.8 – 3.1 – 3.8.

Brighter Media Group Christian AC “95.1 Bright-FM” WRBS-FM trends down 5.2 – 4.6 – 3.5. AAA 89.7 WTMD is down 2.4 – 2.0 – 1.7.

St. Louis

104.1 KMOX-FM 1120 KMOX St. LouisHubbard Classic Rock 94.7 KSHE retains its lead down 10.2 to 9.3. iHeartMedia Classic Hits 103.3 KLOU is down 8.5 to 7.7. Hubbard Variety Hits “106.5 The Arch” WARH inches up 7.1 to 7.2. Audacy Adult R&B “96.3 R&B” rises 5.3 – 5.8 – 6.7. iHeart Country “93.7 The Bull” KSD-FM ends its skid back up 5.8 to 6.1.

Hubbard Country 92.3 WIL drops 6.7 to 5.6. Audacy AC 102.5 KEZK is down for the fourth straight month 6.3 to 5.5, but sister Hot AC “Y98” KYKY continues its climb 2.4 – 2.8 – 3.3 – 3.8 – 4.4. iHeart CHR “Z107.7” KSLZ slips 4.5 – 4.0 – 3.8.

In the first full monthly after starting its simulcast on 104.1 KMOX-FM, Audacy News/Talk 1120 KMOX rises 2.4 – 3.2 – 4.4 (stream up 1.1 to 1.4). The Hip Hop format that had been on 104.1 and moved to a translator on 98.7 drops 2.3 – 1.5 – 0.5.

That helped iHeartMedia Hip Hop “100.3 The Beat” KATZ-FM to rise 2.0 – 2.8 – 3.5 which Huff notes is its highest share since June 2012. Gateway Creative Broadcasting Christian Hip-Hop “Boost 95.5” KXBS rises 0.4 – 0.6 – 1.2.

Audacy Classic Hits 104.3 WOMC dips 7.3 to 6.9. iHeart Adult R&B “Mix 92.3” WMXD jumps up 5.1 to 6.5 for its best share since October 2023. Beasley Rock 101.1 WRIF is up 4.9 to 5.4.

iHeartMedia CHR “Channel 95.5” WKQI slides 5.9 – 5.3 – 4.9. Hip Hop 97.9 WJLB is up 3.2 to 4.0.

Audacy News 950 WWJ falls 6.3 – 5.9 – 5.5 – 4.2. Cumulus Conservative Talk 760 WJR is down 2.8 – 2.2 – 1.8.

 

 

Minneapolis/St. Paul

98.5 KTIS-FM Minneapolis St. PauliHeartMedia Sports “100.3 KFAN” KFXN-FM rises 9.9 to 10.9 to expand its lead to four share points. Northwestern Media Christian AC 98.5 KTIS-FM trends up 5.0 – 5.5 – 6.1 – 6.9. iHeart Classic Hits “Kool 108” KQQL is down 7.4 to 6.6. Public News/Talk 91.1 KNOW-FM is down 7.2 to 6.5 (stream down 1.5 to 1.1) and Hubbard Hot AC “KS 95” KSTP-FM is down 6.9 to 6.5 to tie for fourth.

Following its move to a more Classic Alternative lean, Cumulus Classic Rock 92.5 KQRS holds at a 4.6 share. Audacy Variety Hits “104.1 Jack-FM” KZJK continues to rise 3.3 – 4.4 – 4.7 – 5.3 – 6.2. AAA “89.3 The Current” KCMP is down from its station high 5.9 share to a 4.8.

iHeartMedia Country “K102” KEEY is up 3.9 to 4.7. iHeart CHR 101.3 KDWB falls 5.4 – 4.5 – 4.0.

Tampa/St. Petersburg

The Joy FM Radio Training NetworkThe longest consecutive streak leading a market comes to an end in Tampa. Radio Training Network Christian AC “The Joy FM” 91.5 WCIE rises 6.0 – 6.4 – 8.2 – 8.8 for what Ratings Expert Chris Huff notes is the largest share in station history and its first time leading the market since September 2021. That had been the last time a station other than Cox Media Group Soft AC 105.5 WDUV was atop Tampa Bay ending its stream at 46 months as WDUV falls 10.1 – 9.4 – 8.6.

Cox Classic Rock “107.3 The Eagle” WXGL is up 5.9 to 7.2 for its best share since December 2022. iHeartMedia Rock “98 Rock” WXTB is down 6.3 to 5.8. Beasley Media Classic Hits “Q105” WRBQ is up 4.4 to 5.1.

Cox Hot AC “Magic 94.9” WWRM rises 4.0 to 4.5. Cox Adult R&B “101.5 The Vibe” falls 5.5 – 4.1 – 3.8. SBS Spanish Tropical “El Zol 97.1” WSUN-FM skids 2.4 – 1.5 – 1.0.

iHeart News/Talk 970 WFLA slides 4.0 – 3.1 – 2.7. Sports 620/95.3 WDAE rises 1.3 – 1.7 – 2.2.

Audacy Hot AC “Alice 105.9” KALC continues its spring growth 4.9 to 5.5 to tie for fifth with KSE Media Classic Hits “Kool 105” KXKL as it falls 7.0 – 5.9 – 5.5.

Audacy Classic Rock “99.5 The Mountain” KQMT is up 4.8 to 5.1 with its stream adding a 0.5 share.

Public News/Talk 90.1 KCFR drops 4.4 to 3.8. Classical 88.1 KVOD is up 1.8 – 3.1 – 3.3.

iHeart AAA 97.3 KBCO is down 4.9 – 4.5 – 4.3 – 3.6. iHeart CHR “Hits 95.7” KDHT falls 4.6 to 3.6 and Country “106.7 The Bull” KWBL dips 3.4 – 3.1 -2.9. KSE Media Hot AC “Mix 100” KIMN is down 3.5 to 2.9.

K-Love Inc. Christian AC “K-Love” 91.1 KLDV moves up 3.1 to 3.6. Entravision Spanish Adult Hits “La Suavecita 92.1” KJMN is up 2.6 to 3.1.

San Diego

Sunny 98.1 KXSN San DiegoAudacy Classic Hits “Sunny 98.1” KXSN grows its lead 8.3 to 8.9. Local Media San Diego Rhythmic AC “Magic 92.5” XHRM rises for the fifth straight month 5.9 to 6.6. Public News/Talk 89.5 KPBS-FM slips 6.7 – 6.3 – 6.0. Audacy Sports “97.3 The Fan” KWFN gets its start of the Padres season boost up 2.5 – 3.8 – 5.4 to tie sister AC 96.5 KYXY (up 5.0 to 5.4, stream adding 0.7 share).

iHeartMedia Classic Rock 101.5 KGB-FM rebounds 3.5 to 4.0. CHR “Channel 93.3” KHTS-FM is up 3.1 – 3.7. LMSD CHR “Z90” XHTZ is up 2.1 to 2.6.

Univision Regional Mexican “Que Buena 106.5” KLNV slides 4.8 – 4.2 – 3.6. K-Love Inc. Christian AC “K-Love” 102.1 KLVJ falls 2.9 – 2.6 – 1.8.

Magic 95.9 WWIN-FM BaltimoreRadio One Adult R&B “Magic 95.9” WWIN-FM continues its climb 6.1 – 7.1 – 8.0 – 8.2 – 9.2 for its largest share since June 2022. iHeartMedia Country 93.1 WPOC dips 7.5 to 7.0. Hearst Rock “98 Rock” WIYY is up 6.2 to 6.8. Audacy AC “Today’s 101.9” is down 7.1 to 6.5. Radio One Hip Hop “92Q” WERQ holds at a 5.0 share.

iHeartMedia Variety Hits “102.7 Jack-FM” WQSR is up 4.5 to 4.9. Audacy Hot AC “Mix 106.5” WWMX rises 2.8 – 3.1 – 3.8.

Brighter Media Group Christian AC “95.1 Bright-FM” WRBS-FM trends down 5.2 – 4.6 – 3.5. AAA 89.7 WTMD is down 2.4 – 2.0 – 1.7.

St. Louis

104.1 KMOX-FM 1120 KMOX St. LouisHubbard Classic Rock 94.7 KSHE retains its lead down 10.2 to 9.3. iHeartMedia Classic Hits 103.3 KLOU is down 8.5 to 7.7. Hubbard Variety Hits “106.5 The Arch” WARH inches up 7.1 to 7.2. Audacy Adult R&B “96.3 R&B” rises 5.3 – 5.8 – 6.7. iHeart Country “93.7 The Bull” KSD-FM ends its skid back up 5.8 to 6.1.

Hubbard Country 92.3 WIL drops 6.7 to 5.6. Audacy AC 102.5 KEZK is down for the fourth straight month 6.3 to 5.5, but sister Hot AC “Y98” KYKY continues its climb 2.4 – 2.8 – 3.3 – 3.8 – 4.4. iHeart CHR “Z107.7” KSLZ slips 4.5 – 4.0 – 3.8.

In the first full monthly after starting its simulcast on 104.1 KMOX-FM, Audacy News/Talk 1120 KMOX rises 2.4 – 3.2 – 4.4 (stream up 1.1 to 1.4). The Hip Hop format that had been on 104.1 and moved to a translator on 98.7 drops 2.3 – 1.5 – 0.5.

That helped iHeartMedia Hip Hop “100.3 The Beat” KATZ-FM to rise 2.0 – 2.8 – 3.5 which Huff notes is its highest share since June 2012. Gateway Creative Broadcasting Christian Hip-Hop “Boost 95.5” KXBS rises 0.4 – 0.6 – 1.2.
