Ty Bailey has exited as APD/afternoon host at iHeartMedia Country 98.7 WMZQ Washington DC and 93.1 WPOC Baltimore after a nine year run.
Bailey was on her second stint at iHeart Washington where she also hosted middays at Classic Rock “Big 100” WBIG-FM during her tenure, as she previous served as midday host at Alternative “DC 101” WWDC and APD/MD of “Channel 104.3” WCHH Baltimore from 2008 to 2012. In between she was PD/morning host at “98 Rock” WXTB Tampa from 2012 to 2017 and was a prolific voice trackers for the company’s Alternative, Classic Rock, and Rock stations. Prior to joining iHeart, Bailey began her career at Alternative “94.1 The Zone” WZNE Rochester with time in mornings, middays, and as Marketing Director from 2001 to 2005 followed by a run programming Rock “K-Rock” 94.9 WKLL/100.9 WKRL-FM Syracuse NY.
WMZQ evening host Corey Calhoun is currently listed in afternoons on both stations.
