One of the stations hit the hardest by this week’s purge at iHeartMedia is Rhythmic CHR 99.1 KGGI Riverside CA.
Prior to the cuts, KGGI featured local talent from 10am to 12am daily. All three of them have exited leaving the station with nobody in the building. Exiting the station are midday host Evelyn Erives, Promotions Director/afternoon host Garrison King and evening host Nick Nack.
Erives joined KGGI as morning co-host in 2002 where she would remain for 20 years until moving to middays in 2022. She also was Public Service Director for the cluster, oversaw programming for the company’s stations in Temecula CA, and was a weekend/fill-in host at AC 103.5 KOST Los Angeles.
Garrison King held multiple roles during his time with the station including morning show producer and hosting nights and overnights. Nack had originally been with the station from 2002-2020 as a mixer and later Mix Show Coordinator before returning to host nights.
KGGI fell to a 2.9 share in the May 2026 Nielsen Audio ratings. The station’s website currently lists three Fresno based personalities following the syndicated Tino Cochino Radio in mornings. It is not yet confirmed whether they are permanently taking those spots.
