Idaho Wireless Corporation Country 93.7 KZBQ Pocatello ID has moved to 93.9 as the first part of a multi-station move to bring another station into the Boise market.
KZBQ drops from a Class C to C0 with 100kW/308m with the frequency shift.
The next step will see Lee Family Broadcasting Hot AC “Hot 100” 99.9 KZDX Burley/Twin Falls move to 93.5 from its current 27kW/747m antenna. The final move will see Cochise Media Licenses 99.9 KXML Salmon upgrade from a Class A to Class C with 40kW/708m where it will serve the eastern part of the Boise market.
The changes were part of the larger Docket 05-243 order making changes to dozens of licenses in Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Utah, and Wyoming released in 2008.
