Cumulus Media Country 95.5 WFMS Indianapolis has imported Chris Randolph to host afternoons.
Randolph joins WFMS from Louisville where he hosted mornings at Alpha Media’s Hot AC “Max 102.3” WXMA until its flip to Variety Hits “102.3 Jack-FM” last month. He also spent seven years in mornings at iHeartMedia Country 97.5 WAMZ Louisville and prior stints at Classic Rock 95.7 WQMF and CHR’s “98.9 Radio Now” WNRW and 99.7 WDJX in the market as well as AC “Mix 100.7” WMTX Tampa.
Randolph will start on October 2 and fill the afternoon slot currently held by Jay Dillon.
Cumulus Media announces that it has appointed veteran radio personality Chris Randolph as Afternoon Drive Host for WFMS 95.5 The Country Station in Indianapolis. Randolph’s show debuts on WFMS on October 2, 2017, and will air weekdays from 2pm-7pm.
Randolph joins Cumulus Media-Indianapolis after a long and successful radio career in Louisville, KY, where he was Morning Show Host for Alpha Media’s Hot AC station, WXMA-FM. Prior to that, he was Morning Show Host for iHeartMedia’s WAMZ-FM in Louisville, KY, and for WMXL-FM in Lexington, KY. He was also a Premium Choice personality for iHeartMedia’s Country and Classic Rock stations and served as Morning Show Co-Host for WMTX-FM in Tampa, FL, as Program Director/Morning Show Host for WNRW-FM and as Afternoon Host for WQMF-FM in Louisville, KY.
