Pueblo de Galilea has dropped Spanish Sports “ESPN Deportes Radio” from 1230 KCOH Houston and has returned to its former Urban Talk format.
The new “1230 The Source” features local talk programming from 6am to 7pm daily including longtime KCOH hosts Amber Shaw in mornings from 6-9am, Paris Eley 9-11am, Michael Harris from 11am-2pm, Don Samuel 2-5pm, and Ralph Cooper 5-7pm. The remainder of the programming consists of R&B Oldies and Gospel music.
The station is unrelated to a second KCOH branded webcaster operating as “KCOH-TV The Boost” that previously aired on 92.9 KKBQ-HD2 for awhile after 1230 dropped Urban Talk for Spanish Tropical in 2016.
