Bonneville Country 98.5 KYGO Denver has announced the appointment of Brian Michel as Program Director.
Michel most recently served as Regional Senior VP of Programming for iHeartMedia Atlanta including Program Director duties for Country “94.9 The Bull” WUBL. He has also served as Operations Manager for Simmons Media Salt Lake City and Program Director of Rhythmic CHR “U92” 92.5 KXUU and VP/Programming for Kovas Communications Fort Wayne IN. He also programmed short-lived CHR “U102” 102.1 KXUU Denver in the early 2000s.
Michel fills the opening created by the departure of John E. Kage to iHeartMedia CHR “95.7 The Party” KPTT in January.
98.5 KYGO (KYGO-FM) announced today that Brian Michel has been appointed Program Director for 98.5 KYGO effective Wednesday, May 1, 2019.
Michel joins 98.5 KYGO and the Bonneville Denver Media Group from iHeart Media where he was most recently Regional Senior Vice President of Programming responsible for the entire iHeart Atlanta region. Prior to that, he held the position of Operations Manager for Simmons Media in Salt Lake City. Brian has also programmed urban station KXUU-FM in Denver and held the position of VP of Programming in Fort Wayne.
