Nine months after joining Cumulus Country “New Country 93.1” WDRQ Detroit when it rebranded in mid-February, Kristina ‘Krissy T’ Williamson has exited to join local Sports media startup Woodward Sports Network.
Williamson joined WDRQ in February to co-host mornings with Bill ‘Broadway’ Bert after previously hosting nights at iHeartMedia CHR “Channel 95.5” WKQI. She has also co-hosted mornings at “Hot 104.7” WHTP Portland ME and weekends at WODS Boston.
She will be part of a soon to-be-announced morning show at Woodward Sports. Woodward describes itself as a “Detroit based Sports, Entertainment and Media Crew”. The company was founded by Lady Jane’s Haircuts for Men CEO Chad Johnson, former WSNX Grand Rapids Program Director and WKQI APD Sam ‘Stick’ Day and former WKQI morning show producer/co-host Joey Namou.
