After stunting with teases all weekend, including a guest airshift from Scott Shannon, Connoisseur Media Country “103.1 The Wolf” WWWF Bay Shore NY will launch a new local morning show featuring Cane Peterson and ‘Sabrina From Queens’ Sergio on Thursday, September 10.
Peterson joins the station from Press Communications Classic Hits “107.1 The Boss” WWZY Long Branch NJ where he spent the past four years first in nights and then afternoons. The New York market stalwart has spent time in mornings at “Alt 92.3” WNYL, mornings, afternoons, and nights at Hot AC “Fresh 102.7” WNEW, nights and afternoons at “92.3 K-Rock” WXRK, and at “Z100” WHTZ. He has also worked at VH-1, multiple outlets in the Minneapolis market, and multiple SiriusXM channels.
Sergio has been hosting afternoons on Audacy’s “New York’s Country 94.7 HD2” WXBK-HD2 Newark NJ since January 2022 in addition to her primary duties as Senior Activation Coordinator for the Audacy New York cluster. She will also serve as Assistant Program Director of WWWF.
Peterson commented, “Every single person who ever gets a new job and gives quotes sounds like a fake goober. I can’t wait for listeners to get to know me, and for us to have a lot of fun together every morning!”
Program Director Robby Bridges added, “The opportunity to create a country radio morning show in one of the largest media markets in the country requires talent who are compelling, edgy, relatable, have a point of view and are completely connected to both the market and the format. I have no doubt Cane and Sabrina are that combination.”

With the addition of Cane and Sabrina for mornings, the station has dropped Compass Media Networks’ “Big D & Bubba” from weekday mornings, but will continue to carry the show on Saturdays. It also picks up their “Country with Carsen” hosted by Jessica ‘Carsen” Humphreville for middays. Bridges moves from middays to afternoons, while Andrew Blitz remains at night.
Original Report 9/4: Connoisseur Media Country “103.1 The Wolf” WWWF Bay Shore NY is spending the Labor Day weekend in stunt mode teasing a change coming on Tuesday, September 8.
As it remains in format, all imaging is promoting upcoming changes to station emphasizing the current branding.
WWWF is currently tied for fifteenth in Nassau/Suffolk as it registered a 1.9 share in the July 2026 Nielsen Audio ratings. Former MD/afternoon host Kelly Ford departed the station in July to join iHeartMedia’s WMZQ Washington DC and WPOC Baltimore.
