Nielsen Audio has released Day 2 of its monthly four day sweep of ratings in PPM markets.

Today’s releases include Washington DC, Boston, Seattle, Miami, Phoenix, Detroit, Minneapolis, Tampa/St. Petersburg, Denver, San Diego, Baltimore, and St. Louis.

Washington DC

Public News/Talk 88.5 WAMU holds a three share lead moving 12.1 to 12.0. Hubbard News 103.5 WTOP is second 8.9 to 9.0. iHeartMedia AC 97.1 WASH rises 6.5 to 7.0. Atlantic Gateway Communications Christian AC 91.9 WGTS falls 7.3 to 5.9. Both Adult R&B stations in the market jump up with Radio One’s “Majic 102.3/92.7” WMMJ/WDCJ rising 4.3 to 5.5 and Howard University’s 96.3 WHUR tying 4.5 to 5.5.

Classical 90.9 WETA trends up 2.3 – 3.2 – 3.6. Radio One Gospel “Praise 104.1” WPRS-FM rises 1.7 – 2.4 – 2.9.

iHeartMedia Country 98.7 WMZQ slides 2.4 – 2.3 – 1.9.

Boston

Beasley’s “98.5 The Sports Hub” WBZ-FM rises 7.5 to 8.1 to expand its lead to two share points over sister Classic Hits 105.7 WROR (6.2 to 6.1). iHeartMedia CHR “Kiss 108” WXKS-FM is up 5.4 to 5.5. Audacy AC “Magic 106.7” WMJX dips 5.1 to 4.9. Public News/Talk 90.9 WBUR is up 4.5 to 4.7.

iHeartMedia Classic Rock 100.7 WZLX trends down 6.1 – 5.1 – 4.6, while sister News 1030 WBZ drops 5.3 – 4.6 – 4.4. Audacy Sports 93.7 WEEI-FM falls 3.9 – 3.2 – 2.6.

Seattle/Tacoma

iHeartMedia Classic Hits “95.7 The Jet” KJEB rises 5.9 to 7.2. Following the flip of 98.9 KNUC to AAA, Audacy Country “100.7 The Wolf” KKWF surges 3.8 – 5.0 – 7.1. iHeartMedia Classic Rock 102.5 KZOK dips 6.5 to 6.2. Audacy Soft AC “94.1 The Sound” KSWD (5.0 to 5.1) and Public News/Talk 94.9 KUOW-FM (5.5 to 5.1) tie for fourth.

Bonneville News/Talk 97.3 KIRO-FM slides 6.1 – 5.4 – 4.8. AAA 90.3 KEXP falls 5.6 to 4.3. Lotus’ “Northwest News 1000/97.7” KNWN/KNWN-FM trends down 5.5 – 4.3 – 4.1.

Lotus AC “Star 101.5” KPLZ trends up 1.9 – 2.3 – 2.6. Bonneville’s “Seattle Sports 710” KIRO rises 2.4 to 3.1, while iHeartMedia Sports 93.3 KJR-FM is up 1.6 to 2.1.

In its first monthly after its flip from Country “98.9 The Bull” to KPNW-FM, the new Hubbard AAA falls 1.8 to 0.3.

Miami/Fort Lauderdale

Cox Adult R&B “Hot 105” WHQT moves into the lead 8.4 to 9.5 for what Ratings Expert Chris Huff says is its highest share since February 2013, while sister Soft AC “Easy 93.1” WFEZ slips 8.9 to 8.2. Univision Spanish AC “Amor 107.5” WAMR moves 6.4 to 6.3. Audacy AC “101.5 Lite-FM” WLYF dips 5.3 to 5.0. Cox Hip Hop “99 Jamz” WEDR jumps up 3.2 to 4.7.

SBS Spanish Tropical “El Zol 106.7” WXDJ slides 5.2 to 4.4, while Public News/Talk 91.3 WLRN falls 5.3 to 4.4.

Hubbard Classic Rock 100.7 KSLX jumps up 6.4 to 7.5 for its largest share since September 2017 and first time atop the market since August 2020. iHeartMedia AC “99.9 KEZ” KESZ rises 6.5 to 7.3. Public News/Talk 91.5 KJZZ-FM trends down 8.0 – 7.4 – 6.4. iHeartMedia Variety Hits “95.5 The Mountain” KYOT jumps up 3.3 to 4.4. iHeart Hot AC “Mix 96.9” KMXP is down 4.7 to 4.2.

Audacy CHR “Live 101.5” KALV trends down 5.6 – 5.2 – 4.0.

iHeartMedia CHR “Channel 95.5” WKQI shatters the station record high set last month with a 5.9 – 7.3 – 8.3 trend with Huff noting this is also the station’s first time leading Detroit since February 2020. Beasley Classic Rock 94.7 WCSX slips 7.4 to 6.5. Audacy Sports “97.1 The Ticket” WXYT-FM moves 6.3 to 6.2. iHeartMedia AC 100.3 WNIC trends down 7.7 – 6.6 – 6.1. Audacy Country 99.5 WYCD rises 5.5 to 5.8.

KSE Media Classic Hits “Kool 105” KXKL trends up to third 4.4 – 5.0 – 5.4, while sister Hot AC “Mix 100” KIMN rises 4.6 to 5.2. Audacy Classic Rock “99.5 The Mountain” KQMT dips 4.9 to 4.6.

iHeartMedia AAA 97.3 KBCO rises 3.6 – 4.1 – 4.5, while sister CHR “Hits 95.7” KDHT jumps 2.5 – 3.0 – 3.7 which Huff notes is its highest share since August 2020. Audacy Hot AC “Alice 105.9” KALC slips 5.6 to 4.5.

In its first monthly as Classic Country “Front Range Country” after its flip from Comedy, Audacy’s 103.1 KQKS-HD2 falls 0.8 to 0.4.

San Diego

Audacy Classic Hits “Sunny 98.1” KXSN grows its lead 6.8 to 7.3. Public News/Talk 89.5 KPBS-FM holds at a 6.3 share. Local Media San Diego Rhythmic AC “Magic 92.5” trends down 6.8 – 6.1 – 5.9. iHeartMedia News/Talk 600 KOGO trends down 6.1 – 5.6 – 5.1. Audacy Country 103.7 KSON trends up 3.8 – 4.4 – 4.8.
