After selling Classic Hits 94.9 WKHI Newark/Salisbury MD to The Voice Radio Network for $375,000 earlier this month, Vincent Klepac’s VinCo Media will purchase Classic Hits “Xtra 106.1” WXSH Pocomoke City MD from Michael Powell for $175,000. Powell purchased WXSH from The Voice Radio Network in November 2018 for $150,000 completing the circle.
After selling News/Talk 1490 WABJ and Country “Q95” 95.3 WQTE Adrian MI to The Cromwell Group in November, Friends Communications of Hudson sells Classic Rock “Buzz 102.5” WBZV Hudson MI to William Sours’ Madsun Investments for $230,000.
Real Community Radio sells Silent 104.5 KVOY Wynnewood OK to The Chickasaw Nation for $14,000. The Chickasaw Nation owns six commercial and two non-commercial stations in Oklahoma.
Desert Explorer Communication purchases 103.5 KDVK Dove Creek CO from Cochise Media Licenses for $40,000. The company is led by Redrock Radio Group owner Thomas Troland and former Sierra H Broadcasting Phoenix General Manager Michael Mallace. Following its CP build-out KDVK will serve the same Four Corners region as Redrock’s Classic Hits “Red Rock 92.7” KBDX Blanding UT.
