With ESPN Radio launching a new lineup on August 17, so too will O&O “ESPN 710” KSPN Los Angeles.
Predicated around current KSPN morning co-host Keyshawn Johnson moving to the national lineup, KSPN will begin airing the national “Keyshawn, Jay & Zubin” featuring Johnson, Jay Williams and Zubin Mehenti from 5-9am. That places the show on a two hour delay from its live east coast and national TV broadcasts. Current morning co-host Travis Rodgers will handle local inserts in mornings.
The new national show hosted by Mike Greenberg will air live from 9-11am as will Max Kellerman’s from 11am-1pm. Kellerman previously co-hosted afternoons at KSPN from 2010-2016.
Local programming will begin at 1pm as Steve Mason and John Ireland move up from their current 3-630pm slot. The duo previously were heard from 12-3pm until April 2019. They will be followed in afternoon drive by the reteaming of Jorge Sedano and LZ Granderson. Sedano joined KSPN in 2016 from ESPN Radio’s national lineup and has spent time in nearly every daypart including mornings with Granderson. Longtime “Mighty 1090” XEPRS Tijuana/San Diego afternoon host Scott Kaplan will join KSPN for nights from 7-10pm. Kaplan is still set to host afternoons on the pending relaunch of XEPRS as “Mightier 1090“.
