Nielsen begins its monthly release of PPM ratings with today’s Day 1 update including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston/Galveston, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Long Island, Riverside/San Bernardino, San Jose, and Middlesex/Somerset/Union.

New York

106.7 Lite-FM WLTW New YorkiHeartMedia AC “106.7 Lite-FM” WLTW retains its commanding lead up 7.8 to 8.0. SBS Spanish Tropical “Mega 97.9” WSKQ is up 5.5 to 5.8 (stream 0.8 to 0.6) to tie for second with Audacy News 1010 WINS/92.3 WINS-FM which dips 6.0 to 5.8 (stream 1.0 to 0.6). iHeartMedia CHR “Z100” WHTZ rises 5.1 to 5.6 to tie for fourth with Audacy Classic Hits 101.1 WCBS-FM as its rises 5.3 to 5.6.

Audacy Hot AC “New 102.7” WNEW dips 4.2 to 3.9, while iHeartMedia’s 103.5 WKTU slips 4.2 – 3.5 – 3.3.

Red Apple Media Conservative Talk 770 WABC slides 4.9 – 4.5 – 4.2 – 3.8.

iHeartMedia Hip Hop “Power 105.1” WWPR-FM is up 2.4 to 2.8 to tie MediaCo’s “Hot 97” WQHT which inches up 2.7 to 2.8.

Univision Spanish CHR “X96.3” WXNY-FM drops 2.2 to 1.7. Emmis Bilingual AC “La Exitosa 98.7” WEPN-FM inches up 1.2 to 1.4.

Los Angeles

95.5 KLOS Los AngelesAudacy Classic Hits “K-Earth 101” KRTH is up 5.6 to 5.9 to tie for first with iHeartMedia AC 103.5 KOST as it holds at a 5.9. iHeart Hot AC “104.3 My-FM” KBIG is off 4.8 to 4.7. iHeart CHR 102.7 KIIS-FM is up 4.2 to 4.5 to tie for fourth with Audacy News 1070 KNX/97.1 KNX-FM as it dips 4.8 to 4.5.

Meruelo Media Classic Rock 95.5 KLOS is up 3.6 – 3.9 – 4.1 for what Ratings Expert Chris Huff notes is its largest share since Fall 1991. iHeart Alternative “Alt 98.7” KYSR is up 2.8 to 3.0, while Audacy’s 106.7 KROQ rises 2.0 – 2.3 – 2.6.

Public News/Talk “LAist 89.3” KPCC is up 2.4 – 2.7 – 3.0 for its best share since September 2021.

iHeart Hip Hop “Real 92.3” KRRL is up 1.5 to 1.8, while Meruelo Media’s “Power 106” KPWR is up 1.3 to 1.6.

Chicago

93.9 Lite-FM WLIT ChicagoiHeartMedia AC “93.9 Lite-FM” WLIT holds on to its lead by the narrowest of margins down 5.7 to 5.4. Hubbard Classic Rock “97.1 The Drive” WDRV holds at a 5.3 share. Audacy News 780 WBBM/105.9 WCFS is steady at a 4.8 share with its stream dipping 1.0 to 0.8. Audacy Country “US 99” WUSN rises 4.3 to 4.6, while sister AAA 93.1 WXRT is up 4.2 to 4.4.

Weigel Broadcasting Soft Oldies “87.7 MeTV-FM” WRME-LD climbs 2.1 – 2.4 – 3.0.

iHeart CHR “103.5 Kiss-FM” WKSC-FM slips 3.5 – 3.2 – 2.9. Hubbard Millennial Hits “Throwback 100.3” WTBC-FM is up 2.3 to 2.5 for the best share on the signal since July 2022.

Dallas/Fort Worth

New Country 96.3 KSCS DallasCumulus Sports “The Ticket” 1310 KTCK/96.7 KTCK-FM is up 5.2 – 5.7 – 5.9. Cumulus’ “New Country 96.3” KSCS continues its climb 3.9 – 4.4 – 4.9 – 5.4 – 5.7. iHeartMedia CHR “106.1 Kiss-FM” KHKS inches up 4.8 to 4.9. Cumulus Country “99.5 The Wolf” KPLX slides 6.0 – 5.1 – 4.8. Audacy Variety Hits “100.3 Jack-FM” KJKK inches up 4.4 to 4.5.

Audacy Regional Mexican “La Grande 107.5” KMVK gains 3.2 – 3.6 – 4.4. Univision’s “Que Buena 94.1” KLNO falls 4.1 – 3.9 – 3.2.

Public News/Talk 90.1 KERA-FM is up 3.5 – 3.9 – 4.2.

iHeart Hot AC “Mix 102.9” KDMX drops 4.6 to 4.1. Service Broadcasting Adult R&B “105.7 Smooth R&B” KRNB dips 4.1 to 3.7.

Perhaps of note to our ratings reader Mark Cuban, Cumulus Conservative Talk 820 WBAP/93.3 WBAP-FM drops 1.5 to 0.9 falling to its lowest share ever.

San Francisco

Public News/Talk 88.5 KQED-FM maintains its lead dropping a share 10.6 to 9.6. Audacy News 740 KCBS/106.9 KFRC rises 6.3 to 7.2. Bonneville AC 96.5 KOIT dips 5.6 to 5.5. Classical 90.3 KDFC is up 4.0 to 4.3. iHeartMedia Soft AC “98.1 The Breeze” KISQ (down 4.5 to 3.8) and Bonneville CHR “99.7 Now” KMVQ (down 4.1 to 3.8) tie for fifth.

iHeartMedia Hot AC “Star 101.3” KIOI swings 3.7 – 3.2 – 3.7. “Classic Hits 103.7” KOSF jumps up 2.6 to 3.7 for its best showing since July 2023.

Audacy Classic Alternative “Live 105” KITS is up 3.1 to 3.5. Cumulus Classic Rock “107.7 The Bone” KSAN climbs 2.4 – 2.9 – 3.3.

Houston/Galveston

La Ley 92.1 KROI Houston Raul BrindisiHeartMedia AC “Sunny 99.1” KODA maintains its big lead 7.7 to 7.6. Radio One Adult R&B “Majic 102.1” KMJQ continues to trend up 6.3 to 6.6. Hope Media Group Christian AC 89.3 KSBJ dips 5.7 to 5.4. Radio One Country “93Q” KKBQ is up 5.1 to 5.3. iHeart Rock/Alternative “94.5 The Buzz” KTBZ-FM dips 5.2 to 5.0.

Radio One Classic Rock “107.5/106.9 The Eagle” KGLK/KHPT slides 6.0 – 5.6 – 5.1 – 4.9. Radio One Hip Hop “97.9 The Box” KBXX climbs 3.5 to 4.1.

iHeart News/Talk 740 KTRH falls from third to seventh 5.3 to 4.7. Public News/Talk 88.7 KUHF-FM rises 2.6 to 3.4.

SBS Regional Mexican “La Ley 92.1” KROI continues to climb gaining for the fifth straight month since its launch in December. Its 3.5 to 3.7 rise gives KROI its largest share since April 2010 in its first run as Gospel “Praise 92.1“. Univision’s “Que Buena 102.9” KLTN drops 3.3 to 2.5. MediaCo’s “La Raza 98.5” KTJM/101.7 KNTE falls 3.4 to 2.4.

Educational Media Foundation K-Love KLoveCox Media Group takes the top three spots with Classic Rock “97.1 The River” WSRV on top 7.8 to 7.7. News/Talk 750 WSB/95.5 WSBB gains 7.0 to 7.5. Adult R&B “Kiss 104.1” WALR dips 7.1 to 6.8. Radio One Adult R&B “Majic 107.5/97.5” WAMJ/WUMJ is down 7.2 to 6.7. Audacy Hip Hop/R&B “V103” WVEE rises 6.2 to 6.4.

Cox AC “B98.5” WSB-FM falls 6.4 – 5.9 – 5.1. K-Love Inc. Christian AC “K-Love” 106.7 WAKL jumps up 2.6 to 4.1 for what Huff notes is the best showing on the signal since it was “True Oldies 106.7” WYAY in August 2010.

iHeartMedia Country “94.9 The Bull” WUBL continues to climb 3.4 – 4.0 – 4.7. Cumulus’ “New Country 101.5” WKHX is off 3.8 to 3.6.

Public News/Talk 90.1 WABE-FM drops 3.9 to 3.0. Jazz 91.9 WCLK rises 0.4 – 1.2 – 1.4.

Dickey Broadcasting Sports “680/93.7 The Fan” WCNN rises 1.1 – 2.1 – 2.4. Radio One Hip Hop “Hot 107.9” WHTA falls 3.1 to 2.4. Cumulus Classic Alternative “99X” WNNX swings down 2.2 – 3.1 – 2.3.

Philadelphia

102.9 WMGK Philadelphia Classic RockBeasley Media Group Classic Rock 102.9 WMGK continues its climb as it is up for the fifth straight month 9.0 to 9.2. Beasley Rock 93.3 WMMR slides 8.2 – 7.6 – 7.0. iHeartMedia Adult R&B 105.3 WDAS-FM holds at a 6.5 share. Audacy Sports 94.1 WIP is down 7.2 to 6.4 with its stream up 1.5 to 1.7, while News 1060 KYW/103.9 WPHI holds at a 5.0 share with its stream up 1.0 to 1.2.

Beasley Country 92.5 WXTU drops 5.4 to 4.9. Audacy Classic Hits “Big 98.1” WOGL is down 4.1 to 3.3. K-Love Inc. Christian AC “K-Love” 106.9 WKVP is up 2.7 to 3.2.

After two straight record high months, AAA 88.5 WXPN dips 3.8 to 3.4.

Audacy Sports 660 WFAN/101.9 WFAN-FM falls 5.6 to 4.7 with its stream down 3.0 to 2.1.

Anaheim Broadcasting Classic Hits 99.9 KOLA-FM slides 8.6 – 7.6 – 6.8 – 6.0 for its lowest share since April 2023. iHeartMedia Rhythmic CHR 99.1 KGGI is off 4.1 to 3.8. Audacy Country “95.1 K-Frog” KFRG holds at a 3.7 share.

Good News Broadcasting Christian AC 89.7 KSGN slides 3.0 – 2.4 – 1.8.

Bonneville Classic Rock “98.5 K-Fox” KUFX ends its slide 3.9 to 4.4. Bonneville AC 96.5 KOIT slides 6.3 – 5.1 – 4.7 – 4.4.

Radio One Classic Rock “107.5/106.9 The Eagle” KGLK/KHPT slides 6.0 – 5.6 – 5.1 – 4.9. Radio One Hip Hop “97.9 The Box” KBXX climbs 3.5 to 4.1.

iHeart News/Talk 740 KTRH falls from third to seventh 5.3 to 4.7. Public News/Talk 88.7 KUHF-FM rises 2.6 to 3.4.

SBS Regional Mexican “La Ley 92.1” KROI continues to climb gaining for the fifth straight month since its launch in December. Its 3.5 to 3.7 rise gives KROI its largest share since April 2010 in its first run as Gospel “Praise 92.1“. Univision’s “Que Buena 102.9” KLTN drops 3.3 to 2.5. MediaCo’s “La Raza 98.5” KTJM/101.7 KNTE falls 3.4 to 2.4.

Cox AC “B98.5” WSB-FM falls 6.4 – 5.9 – 5.1. K-Love Inc. Christian AC “K-Love” 106.7 WAKL jumps up 2.6 to 4.1 for what Huff notes is the best showing on the signal since it was “True Oldies 106.7” WYAY in August 2010.

iHeartMedia Country “94.9 The Bull” WUBL continues to climb 3.4 – 4.0 – 4.7. Cumulus’ “New Country 101.5” WKHX is off 3.8 to 3.6.

Beasley Country 92.5 WXTU drops 5.4 to 4.9. Audacy Classic Hits “Big 98.1” WOGL is down 4.1 to 3.3. K-Love Inc. Christian AC “K-Love” 106.9 WKVP is up 2.7 to 3.2.
