Connected TV provider Live Channel USA is entering the network radio news space to attempt to fill the opening created by the upcoming shutdown of CBS News Radio.
Live Channel USA will launch “Radio Network News” with a bridge service on May 23 to immediately fill the gap following CBS’ final broadcast and full network rollout on June 1. The company highlights that RNN will operate with a hybrid broadcast model with staff split from studios across the United States and a primary news hub in London. They note their staff is led by a veteran team with experience at networks including Sky News, BBC and CNN.
Live Channel USA founder Dan Warren commented, “We aren’t just filling a gap; we’re offering an institutional upgrade. Our ‘Change Bulletin Supplier’ (CBS) initiative is a direct response to the market’s need for a news partner that understands both the American heartland and the global stage. We are bringing the ‘Gold Standard’ of the 20th century into the 2026 media landscape.”
