The Capital District of New York has gained its third Country outlet as iHeartMedia launched “Wild Country 99.9” W260CH/WRVE-HD2 Albany.
Launching with the usual 10,000 songs commercial-free, W260CH joins Townsquare’s market leading 107.7 WGNA and Pamal’s “100.9 The Cat” WKLI. The pair combined for an 11.4 share in the Fall 2014 Nielsen Audio ratings. W260CH will add the Bobby Bones Show following the commercial-free stunt ending in Mid-February.
The translator is a new sign-on owned by Educational Media Foundation. W260CH operates with 250 watts at 101 meters (Coverage Map).
