iHeartMedia AC “106.7 Lite-FM” WLTW marks its 25th consecutive monthly in the top spot with an 8.5 to 8.2 dip. iHeart Classic Rock “Q104.3” WAXQ holds at a 6.1 share. MediaCo Adult R&B 107.5 WBLS rises for the fifth straight month 5.1 to 5.8 for what Ratings Expert Chris Huff notes is its best performance since April 2023. iHeart CHR “Z100” WHTZ is up 5.5 to 5.7. Audacy Classic Hits 101.1 WCBS-FM is off 5.6 to 5.5.

Red Apple Media Conservative Talk 770 WABC continues its growth 3.3 – 3.8 – 4.0 – 4.4 – 5.0. Huff notes this is WABC’s best share since the Summer of 1979 at the end of its “Music Radio” heyday.

A good month for spoken word overall. Public News/Talk 93.9 WNYC-FM rises 3.2 to 3.9. Audacy News 1010 WINS/92.3 WINS-FM is up 4.3 to 4.6 with its stream adding an extra 0.4 share. Sports 660 WFAN/101.9 WFAN-FM gains 2.6 to 3.3 plus its stream adds an additional 1.1 share. Audacy’s 880 WHSQ is no longer listed running Good Karma Brands “ESPN New York” programming plus Audacy’s New York Mets coverage.

Classical 105.9 WQXR trends up 1.9 – 2.3 – 2.5.

MediaCo Hip Hop “Hot 97” WQHT slides 2.3 – 2.0 – 1.8. Audacy Classic Hip Hop “94.7 The Block” WXBK is down 1.5 – 1.3 – 1.2.

Los Angeles

Audacy Classic Hits “K-Earth 101” KRTH maintains its lead, but continues to slide 7.1 – 6.8 – 6.4 – 5.8. iHeartMedia CHR 102.7 KIIS-FM gains 4.9 to 5.3 for what Huff notes is its best share since February 2016. Univision Spanish AC “107.5 K-Love” KLVE (5.5 to 5.0) and iHearth Media Hot AC “104.3 My-FM” KBIG (5.4 to 5.0) both drop into a third place tie. iHeart AC 103.5 KOST is down 5.4 to 4.8.

Audacy News 1070 KNX/97.1 KNX rises 3.3 – 3.5 – 4.0. iHeartMedia Sports “AM 570 Sports” KLAC is up 1.5 to 2.0 for what is its best share since April 2022.

Meruelo Media Spanish Hot AC “Cali 93.9” KLLI trends up 1.8 – 2.4 – 2.8. Meruelo Hip Hop “Power 106” KPWR slides 2.1 – 2.0 – 1.6.

iHeartMedia Alternative “Alt 98.7” KYSR slips 2.9 – 2.6 – 2.4. Audacy’s competing 106.7 KROQ is down 2.8 to 2.2.

Hubbard Classic Rock “97.1 The Drive” WDRV holds at a 6.0 share. iHeartMedia Adult R&B “V103” WVAZ slides 6.5 – 6.1 – 5.8 – 5.4. iHeartMedia AC “93.9 Lite-FM” WLIT inches up 4.7 to 4.8. Cumulus Classic Hits 94.7 WLS-FM holds at a 4.6 share.

Audacy AAA 93.1 WXRT dips 5.0 to 4.5. Univision Spanish AC “Amor 106.7” WPPN gains 2.1 – 2.5 – 2.8.

Cumulus Media Sports “The Ticket” 1310 KTCK/96.7 KTCK-FM surges 4.2 – 5.0 – 5.9 with the start of the NFL season for its largest share since May 2023. Univision Regional Mexican “Que Buena 94.1” KLNO is up to second 4.5 to 5.0. Public News/Talk 90.1 KERA-FM dips 4.5 to 4.4. iHeartMedia CHR “106.1 Kiss-FM” KHKS-FM inches up 4.2 to 4.3. Audacy Variety Hits “100.3 Jack-FM” KJKK is up 4.0 to 4.1.

Service Broadcasting Adult R&B “105.7 Smooth R&B” KRNB drops 4.4 to 3.4. Co-owned Hip Hop “K104” KKDA-FM slips 3.4 – 3.1 – 2.8. Radio One Adult R&B “Majic 94.5” KZMJ is down 2.3 to 1.7.

Educational Media Foundation Contemporary Worship “Air 1” 101.7 KYDA surges 1.4 – 2.1 – 2.7. Hope Media Group Christian AC “Way-FM” 89.7 KAWA doubles up 1.1 to 2.2.

Despite the January addition of its 93.3 WBAP-FM simulcast, Cumulus News/Talk 820 WBAP drops 1.9 to 1.7 to tie its record low share reached in both Holiday 2014 and January 2015. As it transitions from News to a mix with Conservative Talk, Audacy’s 1080 KRLD is down 1.4 – 1.1 – 1.0, which marks an all-time record low for the station.

San Francisco

Public News/Talk 88.5 KQED-FM continues its climb from a 5.9 share in May to rise 8.3 to 8.6, which Huff notes is its best showing since March 2022. Audacy News 740 KCBS/106.9 KFRC also continues its upward trend 6.9 to 7.0. Bonneville AC 96.5 KOIT is down 6.7 – 6.4 – 5.5. iHeartMedia Soft AC “98.1 The Breeze” KISQ drops 6.3 – 5.4 – 5.0. Bonneville CHR “99.7 Now” KMVQ dips 5.0 to 4.8.

Radio One Country “93Q” KKBQ dips 5.4 to 5.3, while co-owned Adult R&B “Majic 102.1” KMJQ dips 5.3 to 4.9.

Audacy Variety Hits “95.7 The Spot” KKHH is up 3.7 to 4.2. Radio One Classic Rock “107.5/106.9 The Eagle” KGLK/KHPT dips 4.5 to 4.2.

Cumulus CHR 104.1 KRBE gains 3.3 to 3.8. Audacy Hot AC “Mix 96.5” KHMX swings 3.5 – 3.0 – 3.6. Audacy Country “100.3 The Bull” KILT-FM is down 3.8 to 3.2.

Cox Media Group takes the top four spots in Atlanta. News/Talk 750 WSB/95.5 WSBB rises 9.5 to 10.1 for its highest share since February 2021. Classic Rock “97.1 The River” WSRV is up 7.3 to 7.7. Adult R&B “Kiss 104.1” WALR dips 6.6 to 6.3. AC “B98.5” WSB-FM falls 6.9 – 6.2 – 5.6, which ties it with Audacy Hip Hop/R&B “V103” WVEE as it rises 4.8 to 5.6.

Cox Adult R&B “Majic 107.5/97.5” WAMJ/WUMJ drops 6.3 to 5.5. Salem Christian AC “104.7 The Fish” WFSH is down 5.6 – 4.6 – 4.4.

iHeartMedia Country “94.9 The Bull” WUBL rises 2.9 – 3.2 – 3.3 to overtake Cumulus’ “New Country 101.5” WKHX-FM as it slips 3.8 – 3.3 – 3.1.

Audacy Rhythmic AC “Star 94” WSTR is up 2.1 – 2.5 – 2.8. Core Communicators Hip Hop “Streetz 94.5” 1420 WWSZ gains 1.3 – 1.6 – 1.8.

Philadelphia

Audacy Sports 94.1 WIP uses the Phillies playoff run and the start of the Eagles season to the largest share ever for the brand as well as on the 94.1 frequency with a 7..0 – 8.0 – 9.8 gain. Chris Huff also notes it is the first time atop the Philadelphia market for the station since November 2022. And WIP doesn’t stop there as its stream rises 1.7 – 2.0 – 2.5.

iHeartMedia Adult R&B 105.3 WDAS-FM is down 8.9 to 8.2. Beasley’s duo of Rock 93.3 WMMR (7.8 to 7.9) and Classic Rock 102.9 WMGK (6.6 to 6.7) follow with tiny gains. Audacy News 1060 KYW/103.9 WPHI is off 4.9 to 4.8 and its stream drops 1.1 to 0.8.

Audacy AC “B101” WBEB is down 4.8 to 4.3. Radio One R&B Oldies “Classix 107.9” WPPZ drops 4.1 to 3.5. Beasley Variety Hits “95.7 Ben-FM” WBEN-FM slides 3.7 – 3.1 – 2.9.
