Brad Booker Joins KAMX To Replace JB & Sandy

Brad Booker, most recently at CBS Country 107.9 KMLE Phoenix, will join incumbent co-hosts Sara Osborn and Alex Franco for the “Booker, Alex and Sara” show.

Entercom Austin today announced the Booker, Alex and Sara morning show starting January 6th on Mix 94.7. “I feel like I just hit the jackpot! To have this type of opportunity is truly a blessing. Entercom is an amazing company, Austin is one of the greatest cities in America, and Mix is an outstanding radio station,” said Booker. “I can’t wait to start with Sara and Alex, two amazing talents, and begin connecting with the people of Austin. Batter Up!!”

Booker comes to Austin’s Mix 94.7 with over 17 years radio experience. Serving as an on-air personality in Phoenix, Las Vegas, Houston, New Orleans and St. Louis. Mix 94.7 represents a home coming of sorts for Booker who worked for Entercom for 5 years in New Orleans as Programming Coordinator and morning/afternoon on-air personality with WEZB B-97.

“Booker’s reputation precedes him. I am excited to team up with Booker and Alex to create a new live and local morning show in Austin,” said new Co-host Sara Osburn. “Austin radio listeners are as unique as the city, and we’re ready to put a unique show on the air.
