WZDA dropped its previous Alternative "Alt 103.9" brand on November 24 and has been operating as "Christmas 103.9" since. iHeart registered 1039TheBull.com this week pointing to a return to launching a new Country brand on the frequency. iHeart previously operated Country "B94.5" WYDB until Aloha Stations Trust donated it to Delmarva Educational Association earlier this year. A flip to Country would once again give iHeart a local competitor to Cox Media Group's market leading "K99.1" WHKO-FM. WHKO-FM had a 10.2 share in the November Nielsen Audio ratings. The market also has Alpha Media Classic Country "101.5 Hank-FM" WCLI-FM, which currently has a 1.7 share. [/membership]
