Cumulus Media has placed its Atlanta offices and studios under quarantine after an employee came in contact with a friend currently being tested for possible infection of COVID-19.
Multiple staffers have gone on social media to explain the situation as “Rock 100.5” Program Director Axel Lowe did in a Facebook Live explaining that he and midday host Lindsey will be doing their shows from home, however their morning show will be in best-of.
At Country “New Country 101.5” WKHX, midday host Corey Dylan mentioned that their morning show will be live tomorrow from the house of JJ Kincaid, while afternoon host Lucas Phelan will be live as well. Dylan notes that she is waiting on some equipment to broadcast remotely as well.
Bert Weiss, host of the syndicated “The Bert Show” that originates at CHR “Q99.7” WWWQ noted that they are still trying to figure out how to let the entire team appear on the show remotely.
The quarantine also affects the syndicated Rick & Sasha morning show, but nobody from that show has commented on their status for tomorrow.
no lie. #coronavirus has affected @TheBertShow office. They won’t let us do the show together from same studio together for precautionary reasons. we are trying to figure out how to do the show for you guys from our homes. Will tell ya everything tomorrow. pic.twitter.com/pRT7r4dWSp

Good question! @kincaidndallas WILL be on @newcountry1015 from Kincaid's house tomorrow. Lucas will be on from HIS house. I PRAY I'll be back on-air next week (I've got some of the equipment needed but not all). Thank YOU for listening! #CoronavirusPandemic #CoronaVirusUpdate https://t.co/wTSjJefbnn
