Bonnie-Jill Laflin has exited the “Murph & Mac” morning show on Cumulus Media Sports 680 KNBR/104.5 KNBR-FM San Francisco.
The model/actress turned basketball executive turned sportscaster had joined KNBR in September 2018. The San Jose Mercury-News reports that Laflin’s cut comes ahead of her contract’s expiration this September. Prior to joining KNBR, Laflin was a cheerleader, model and actress, then became the first female NBA scout and Assistant General Manager of the NBA D-League’s Los Angeles D-Fenders. She joined SiriusXM as a host on their fantasy sports channel in 2012 and previously hosted University of Texas football pre and post-game shows on their radio network. Along with her morning show duties, Laflin had been hosting “The Weekly Pass” podcast with fellow KNBR host Adam Copeland for Cumulus’ Westwood One Podcast Network.
Hosts Brian Murphy and Paul McCaffrey remain in place in mornings at KNBR.
