February 2026 (2/5 – 3/4) Nielsen Audio PPM Ratings Day 2: WTOP Hits New Top Marks

Nielsen Audio has released Day 2 of its monthly four day sweep of ratings in PPM markets.

Today’s releases include Washington DC, Boston, Miami/Fort Lauderdale, Seattle, Phoenix, Detroit, Minneapolis, Tampa/St. Petersburg, Denver, San Diego, Baltimore, and St. Louis.

Univision’s stations are no longer subscribing to Nielsen.

The ongoing lawsuit between Cumulus Media and Nielsen means that Cumulus Media’s stations are no longer publicly listed in the ratings.

Audacy is no longer listing its streaming numbers separate from the broadcast, with the signals once again combined into one share.

Washington DC

103.5 WTOP Washington DC 103.9 WTLP Frederick 107.7 WWWT ManassasHubbard News 103.5 WTOP-FM continues to capitalize on all of the news coming out of Washington as it rises 11.3 – 13.5 – 15.2. Ratings expert Chris Huff notes that it is obviously an all-time high for the FM frequency and also the largest non-holiday share for any station in the market since 1500 WTOP in 1964. Public News/Talk 88.5 WAMU also climbs 9.8 – 11.0 – 11.8. Howard University Adult R&B 96.3 WHUR trends up 5.9 – 6.6 – 7.0. iHeartMedia Alternative “DC 101” WWDC holds at a 5.4 share, while AC 97.1 WASH dips 4.9 to 4.6.

Atlantic Gateway Communications Christian AC 91.9 WGTS swings 4.5 – 5.4 – 4.3. Classical 90.9 WETA-FM trends up 3.5 – 3.8 – 4.0.

iHeartMedia Country 98.7 WMZQ climbs 2.8 – 3.6 – 3.9. Radio One Spanish CHR “Latino 104.1/87.7” WLNO/WDCN-LD rises 0.3 to 1.2. Christian AC “K-Love” 107.3 WLVW is up 0.7 to 1.2.

Boston

Mix 104.1 WWBX WBMX BostonAudacy AC “Magic 106.7” WMJX claims the lead holding at a 6.2 share. Beasley Classic Hits 105.7 WROR rises 4.6 – 5.5 – 5.7. Audacy Hot AC “Mix 104.1” WBMX reclaims its legacy calls in time for a 4.5 to 5.3 gain to tie for third with Beasley’s “98.5 The Sports Hub” WBZ-FM as it has a post Super Bowl fall 7.6 to 5.3. Public News/Talk 90.9 WBUR rises 4.0 – 4.5 – 5.2.

iHeartMedia News 1030 WBZ drops 5.0 to 4.3. iHeart Classic Rock 100.7 WZLX gains 3.8 to 4.3. Audacy Sports 93.7 WEEI-FM drops 4.8 to 3.5.

After setting a station high last month, Northeast Digital & Wireless AAA “92.5 The River” WXRV pushes it higher 3.8 to 3.9. Beasley Country 102.5 WKLB is down 4.0 to 3.4.

iHeartMedia Rhythmic CHR “Jam’n 94.5” WJMN is up 2.0 to 3.0. Beasley Rhythmic Hot AC “Hot 96.9” WBQT trends up 2.3 – 2.6 – 2.9.

Miami/Fort Lauderdale

101.5 Lite-FM WLYF Miami Christmas MusicCox Adult R&B “Hot 105” WHQT gains 6.7 to 7.2 to leapfrog sister Soft AC “Easy 93.1” WFEZ as it is down 7.5 to 7.0. Audacy AC “101.5 Lite-FM” WLYF jumps 4.9 to 6.3. SBS Spanish Oldies “Zeta 92.3” WCMQ-FM inches up 5.0 to 5.1 to tie for fourth with Audacy Classic Hits “102.7 The Beach” WMXJ as it dips 5.4 to 5.1.

Crista Media Christian AC “Spirit 105.3” KCMS-FM dips 5.7 to 5.4. Audacy Rock 99.9 KISW moves 5.0 to 5.1. AAA 90.3 KEXP climbs 2.4 – 3.2 – 4.3 – 4.7 for its best share since February 2023.

Following the Seahawks championship, Bonneville News/Talk 97.3 KIRO-FM dips 4.8 to 4.4 while co-flagship “Seattle Sports 710” KIRO is down 5.1 to 3.8.

Phoenix

99.9 The Breeze KEZ KESZ PhoenixiHeartMedia AC “99.9 KEZ” KESZ grows its lead 7.5 to 8.0. Hubbard Classic Rock 100.7 KSLX trends up 5.1 – 6.2 – 6.8. iHeart Conservative Talk 550 KFYI holds at a 4.6 share. Four stations tie for fourth: Classical 89.5 KBAQ slides 5.6 – 4.9 – 4.5, iHeart Variety Hits “95.5 The Mountain” KYOT is down 5.2 to 4.5, iHeart Country 102.5 KNIX rises 3.3 – 4.3 – 4.5, and Audacy Classic Hits “Big 94.5” KOOL-FM is up 4.4 to 4.5.

Cox Classic Rock “107.3 The Eagle” WXGL rises 5.3 to 6.5. Beasley Classic Hits “Q105” WRBQ is up 4.5 – 5.3 – 5.5. Cox Hot AC “Magic 94.9” WWRM is down 5.7 to 5.3.

iHeartMedia CHR 93.3 WFLZ jumps up 4.0 to 5.1 for what Huff notes is its best showing since June 2016. iHeart AC “Mix 100.7” WMTX slides 7.6 – 5.9 – 5.0.

Cox Hot Talk “102.5 The Bone” WHPT-FM rises 2.1 – 3.4 – 3.7.

With its mid-month addition of a simulcast on 95.7 WDAE-FM, iHeartMedia Sports 620 WDAE was off 3.1 to 3.0. The former Spanish Tropical “Rumba 95.7” WRUB rose 1.1 to 1.8 following its move to translators on 95.3 and 102.9 fed by WDAE-HD3.

Beasley Spanish CHR “92.5 Maxima” WYUU gains 1.5 to 2.4. Co-owned Rhythmic CHR “Wild 94.1” WLLD falls 3.2 – 2.6 – 2.2 for the lowest share on the frequency since it was Soft AC WEZY in Spring 1995.
