Nielsen Audio has released Day 2 of its monthly four day sweep of ratings in PPM markets.

Today’s releases include Washington DC, Boston, Miami/Fort Lauderdale, Seattle, Phoenix, Detroit, Minneapolis, Tampa/St. Petersburg, Denver, San Diego, Baltimore, and St. Louis.

Washington DC

Hubbard News 103.5 WTOP is up 11.9 to 12.1. Public News/Talk 88.5 WAMU rises 11.0 to 11.6. Howard University Adult R&B 96.3 WHUR is up 6.6 to 7.0. iHeartMedia Alternative “DC 101” WWDC dipped 5.5 to 5.0, while sister AC 97.1 WASH held at a 4.9 share.

Classical 90.1 WETA drops 4.4 to 3.7.

Following the launch of Spanish CHR “Latino 104.1” at the start of the monthly, the new brand debuted with a 0.2 share. The Gospel “Praise” format that moved from 104.1 to 92.7 WDCJ and 95.9 dropped 1.9 to 1.3. Audacy’s incumbent Spanish CHR “El Zol 107.9” WLZL was down 3.8 to 3.0.

Audacy Rhythmic CHR 95.5 WPGC was up 2.9 to 3.0 with its stream rising 0.5 to 0.8.

Boston

Beasley’s “98.5 The Sports Hub” WBZ-FM climbs 4.4 – 5.2 – 6.4 – 6.9 on the heels of the Patriots’ hot start to retake the Boston lead. Audacy AC “Magic 106.7” WMJX slides 7.6 – 6.5 – 6.1. Beasley Classic Hits 105.7 WROR ends its climb down 6.5 to 5.6. iHeartMedia CHR “Kiss 108” WXKS-FM is up 5.1 to 5.3. Public News/Talk 90.9 WBUR rises 4.2 to 5.0.

iHeartMedia News 1030 WBZ is up 4.1 – 4.5 – 4.7. Public News/Talk 89.7 WGBH-FM rises 3.0 – 3.3 – 3.7.

Audacy Sports 93.7 WEEI-FM falls 5.7 to 4.4. iHeart Classic Rock 100.7 WZLX slides 5.4 – 4.8 – 4.3.

Audacy Variety Hits “Big 103” WBGB is up 3.5 to 3.7 with its stream debuting at a 0.7 share. Beasley Country 102.5 WKLB skids 4.2 – 3.7 – 3.5.

Miami/Fort Lauderdale

Cox Media Group Adult R&B “Hot 105” WHQT was up 6.6 to 6.9, while sister Soft AC “Easy 93.1” WFEZ slid 7.2 to 6.6. Univision Spanish AC “Amor 107.5” WAMR rose was up 5.3 to 5.8. Audacy Classic Hits “102.7 The Beach” WMXJ was off 5.3 to 5.3, with sister AC “101.5 Lite-FM” WLYF dropping 6.5 to 5.2.

iHeart Spanish CHR “Tú 94.9” WZTU jumps 2.9 to 3.9. SBS Spanish Rhythmic “Ritmo 95.7” WRMA climbs 1.6 – 2.3 – 2.5.

ANCO Media Dance “Revolution 93.5” WZFL slides 1.9 – 1.5 – 1.3.

Seattle/Tacoma

Public News/Talk 94.9 KUOW-FM rises 9.1 to 9.4 for what Ratings Expert Chris Huff notes is a new all-time ratings high for the station. iHeartMedia Classic Hits “95.7 The Jet” KJEB gains 5.6 to 6.3 for its best share since May 2023. Audacy Rock 99.9 KISW inches up 5.6 to 5.8. Bonneville’s “Seattle Sports 710” KIRO falls 9.1 to 5.2 following the end of the Mariners’ playoff run. Christa Media Christian AC “Spirit 105.3” KCMS-FM jumps 3.9 to 4.7.

Hubbard CHR “Movin 92.5” KQMV gains 3.6 to 4.4. iHeart CHR “Hits 106.1” KBKS is up 3.2 to 3.4. Audacy Hot AC “Emma 94.1” KSWD rises 1.7 – 1.9 – 2.3.

AAA 90.3 KEXP trends up 2.5 – 3.0 – 3.5. iHeartMedia Sports 93.3 KJR-FM falls 2.3 to 1.4.

iHeartMedia AC “99.9 KEZ” KESZ rises 6.1 – 7.9 – 8.3 to reclaim the lead. Hubbard Classic Rock 100.7 KSLX is down 8.7 to 7.6. iHeart Variety Hits “95.5 The Mountain” KYOT leaps 4.3 to 5.3. Audacy Classic Hits “Big 94.5” KOOL-FM gains 4.2 to 4.9 for its best share since January 2024. iHeartMedia Country 102.5 KNIX swings 4.4 – 3.7 – 4.3.

iHeartMedia CHR “104.7 Kiss-FM” KZZP rises 3.5 to 4.2 for its best share since March 2020. iHeart Conservative Talk 550 KfYI is down 4.7 to 4.2.

Hubbard Alternative “93.3 Alt AZ” KDKB climbs 2.4 – 2.6 – 3.0 – 3.5. Audacy Country 107.9 KMLE dips 3.8 to 3.4, but its stream rises 0.1 to 0.8.

Classical 89.5 KBAQ falls 3.4 to 2.5. Public News/Talk 91.5 KJZZ-FM drops 2.7 to 2.0.

Detroit

With its final week move to Christmas music, iHeartMedia AC 100.3 WNIC rose to the top 7.4 to 8.0. Following the end of the Tigers playoff run, Audacy Sports “97.1 The Ticket” WXYT-FM fell 10.3 to 7.4 with its stream down 3.3 to 2.1. iHeart Adult R&B “Mix 92.3” WMXD swung 7.4 – 6.9 – 7.3. Audacy Classic Hits 104.3 WOMC ended its slide up 5.5 to 6.0, while Country 99.5 WYCD was up 4.8 to 5.5.

Beasley Rock 101.1 WRIF trended up 4.3 – 4.6 – 5.1. Audacy Alternative “Alt 98.7” WDZH jumped 3.0 to 3.9.

Beasley Rhythmic Throwbacks “105.1 The Bounce” WMGC-FM slides 4.0 – 3.4. – 3.0.

Classical 90.9 WRCJ trends up 1.4 – 1.7 – 2.2. Family Life Radio Christian AC 93.1 WUFL rises 0.6 – 0.9 – 1.4.

Minneapolis/St. Paul

iHeartMedia Sports “100.3 KFAN” KFXN-FM maintains a nearly three share lead down 12.1 to 11.0. Northwestern Media Christian AC 98.5 KTIS-FM rises 7.0 – 7.9 – 8.1. Public News/Talk 91.1 KNOW-FM rises 5.9 to 7.0 with its stream moving 1.4 to 1.3. Hubbard Hot AC “KS 95” KSTP-FM inches up 6.6 to 6.8. iHeartMedia Classic Hits “Kool 108” KQQL dips 5.8 to 5.5.

iHeart Country “K102” KEEY slides 5.8 – 5.4 – 4.9. Modern AC “Cities 97.1” KTCZ is up 3.4 to 3.9.

Tampa/St. Petersburg

In the month where K-Love debuted in the market, Radio Training Network Christian AC “The Joy FM” 91.5 WCIE jumped up 6.9 to 8.8 for what Huff noted was its largest share ever. Cox Media Group took the next three spots. Classic Rock “107.3 The Eagle” WXGL rose 6.2 to 7.0. Soft AC 105.5 WDUV dipped 7.1 to 6.8. Hot AC “Magic 94.9” WWRM was up 5.0 to 5.3 for its best share since October 2022 to tie iHeartMedia Country “US 103.5” WFUS as it dipped 5.1 to 4.7.

iHeart CHR 93.3 WFLZ trends up 3.0 – 3.2 – 3.9. Beasley Rhythmic CHR “Wild 94.1” WLLD continues its gain 2.5 – 2.7 – 3.7 – 3.9. iHeart Spanish CHR “Rumba 95.7” WRUB falls 3.0 – 2.2 – 1.9.

Public News/Talk 89.7 WUSF is down 4.2 to 3.5. iHeartMedia News/Talk 970 WFLA is off 3.2 to 2.9.

Bonneville AC 101.1 KOSI expands its lead up 6.6 to 6.9. iHeartMedia Classic Rock “103.5 The Fox” KRFX continues it Broncos boosted rise 4.8 – 5.4 – 5.7. Audacy Classic Rock “99.5 The Mountain” KQMT climbs 4.6 to 5.5. Bonneville Country 98.5 KYGO slides 6.6 – 5.7 – 5.4. Audacy Hot AC “Alice 105.9” KALC dips 5.2 to 5.0.

iHeart News/Talk 850/94.1 KOA also gets a Broncos boosted gain up 3.0 to 4.0. CHR “Hits 95.7” KDHT is down 4.3 to 3.6, Country “106.7 The Bull” KWBL drops 4.0 to 3.1, and Rock 107.9 KBPI is up 1.3 to 1.8.

Audacy Classic Hits “Sunny 98.1” KXSN slides 9.6 – 8.8 – 7.7 but maintains its overall lead. Public News/Talk 89.5 KPBS-FM trends up 5.8 – 6.0 – 6.9 – 7.4 for its largest share since June 2024. Local Media San Diego Rhythmic AC “Magic 92.5” XHRM ends its slide 5.9 to 6.2. Audacy AC 96.5 KYXY inches up 5.6 to 5.7. iHeartMedia Hot AC “Star 94.1” KMYI jumps up 4.0 to 5.1 to tie for fifth with Audacy Country 103.7 KSON as it holds at a 5.1 share.

Univision Regional Mexican “Que Buena 106.5” KLNV is up 3.5 to 4.2. Sister Spanish AC “Amor 106.5” KLQV drops 2.6 to 1.8.

Following the end of the Padres season, Audacy Sports “97.3 The Fan” KWFN falls 5.9 – 5.3 – 3.5.

Radio One’s duo of Adult R&B “Magic 95.9” WWIN-FM (9.4 – 8.6 – 8.4) and Hip Hop “92Q” WERQ (7.7 – 7.0 – 6.7) both slide but retain the top two spots. iHeartMedia Country 93.1 WPOC leaps 5.0 to 6.3. Hearst Rock “98 Rock” WIYY is off 5.9 to 5.8. Audacy AC “Today’s 101.9” WLIF dips 2.4 to 5.2.

Public News/Talk 88.1 WYPR surges up 2.0 – 2.2 – 2.8 – 4.8. AAA 89.7 WTMD is up 2.2 to 2.8.
