iHeartMedia has appointed Angel Brown as Market President for its Norfolk VA cluster.
Brown joins iHeart from Cumulus Media Mobile where she served as Market Vice President/Market Manager/Vice President of Sales. She fills the opening created by Derrick Martin’s promotion to Region President for St. Louis and Springfield MO and Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, and Quad Cities IA in April.
iHeartMedia Norfolk announced today that Angel Brown has been named Market President for Norfolk, effective immediately. iHeartMedia Norfolk has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises – both broadcast and digital – including 103 JAMZ, NOW 105, MOViN 107.7 and 92.1 The Beat and produces marquee events including MEAC Basketball Championship, East Coast Surfing Championship, Not So Silent Night and 7 Cities Summer Fest.
iHeartMedia has massive consumer reach and influence across multiple platforms and delivers more live programming than any other media company. Brown will oversee iHeartMedia Norfolk’s four radio station brands and utilize its assets to provide quality programming for local listeners as well as work with partners and advertisers to create new revenue opportunities. She will also be responsible for the market’s operations including sales, on-air and digital programming, events and promotion initiatives.

Angel previously worked as the Market Vice President for Cumulus in Mobile, AL where she also served as the Market Manager and Vice President of Sales.
