John and Lynn Allen have closed on their $150,000 purchase of 98.3 WDFX Cleveland MS from American Family Association and have relaunched the station as “Oldies 98.3“.
With new WBYB call letters in place, the station is currently airing a mix of Christmas music and Oldies with a planned focus on 1960s and 1970s hits. John Allen owns 49% of Delta Radio Network which owns five stations in the Greenville/Greenwood area of Northwest Mississippi and operates three others owned by Delta CEO Larry Fuss.
